This net is well named. I work in the aquatics section of pet store and bought this to use at work. (I hate the "house" nets!) The mesh allows you to move and maneuver the net quickly through the water without drag. It also doesn't get that annoying trapped air bubble that some nets do when first immersed into the water. I ordered the 5" net which is perfect for most of our stock. I can quickly and safely net anything from livebearer fry to pictus cats with this thing.The only thing I wish is that the basket of the net were just a wee bit deeper. The depth may vary some from net to net, I don't know, but mine seems a little shallow to securely hold deep-bodied fish like angelfish and discus- can't really pinch closed the top of the net to keep them from thrashing out without risking pinning one of those tall fins. Overall, though, I'm really happy with the quick net. The handle is sturdy and on the shorter side, which just right for getting into the small "cubicles" of our banks of tanks.PS: Pay attention to what size you're ordering. Don't order a 2" net then complain how small it is.

The corners have come loose. Haven't used it long, and only using it to scoop debris out of water. I'll look for a different one.

the handle is a bit short, but works perfect if you are just needing to do a quick screening on the surface of your water. I use this for my toddlers pool that we have in the backyard.

title says it all. i also aired it out all day too and tried everything, nothing has helped.This isnt a normal amount of factory plastic smell that other aquarium items have, its SO strong it gives me a headache and the order lingers on my hands even after washing them, literally takes 3 washes before i dont smell it. Do not buy. youre better off being a patron at your local store instead anyways so thats what i did and i found a different 5" one that didnt smell like awful chemicals for $2 instead.

I was getting sick of the bufo toads eating the cat food, pooping in the water bowls, so wanted something to scoop them up! I've captured several so far with this net & have relocated them, I can't bring myself to harm!

The media could not be loaded.  Didn’t realize how big it was when I bought it. It would be good if you had a bigger tank and/or a bigger fish but I have a little betta. It is a good product but just not quite what I needed. Excellent value tho if you need a good net at a cheap price. Was a little disappointed that it was green and not blue. Would still recommend product.

I bought this just to have it, just in caseI had a smaller net and I always thought this one was kinda big so I never used it, until my Molly gave birth to 7 fries, I the it was a male! Ayway, this big net saved me. I bent the handle and used it over the lid for a few days as a net cage for the fries because the other fish were trying to eat them. It was so worth buying...saved my fries and I am super happy with it!

This small net is easy to store and it a good size for fishing out debris (small leaves and pine needles) from our small hot tub. The pool sized nets I looked at were way too big. This fits the bill nicely. Wire construction is lightweight but unlikely to just snap like a lightweight plastic frame.

Solid little net ! Normally all the nets around this price are trash. I didn’t expect much when ordering it. But once I got it, I was able to even use it for scooping out substrate. Net held up beautifully. I might even order a few to have on hand because of how solid they are for the price.

This is a great little fish net perfect for use in smaller fish tanks. It is sturdy but the handle is a bit short so would probably not work that well in larger fish tanks.
