Delightful and refreshing gin experience
Brecon gin offers a delightful and refreshing gin experience. Its botanical blend creates a balanced and crisp flavour profile that is both classic and versatile. The juniper notes are prominent but not overpowering, allowing the subtle hints of citrus and herbal undertones to shine through.Having tried both sipping neat and mixed in cocktails, this gin is a reliable choice for those seeking a timeless gin with a modern twist. Its smooth finish and quality ingredients make it a solid addition to any gin enthusiast's collection.

Sublime
Driven past the distillery many a time, but always seemed too rushed to pop in. Finally ordered a bottle of the Rhubard and Cranberry gin - wow! Many many combinations - try with an iced fizzy pomegranate and orange soda. The perfect summer libation:)

A pleasant Welsh gin
This one of several reviews I will be doing of various gins.I have something of a gin habit and rather geekily score gins for both g&t and martini on a spreadsheet (I mix 1:5 with a twist of lemon, well I don't mix it myself thats what husbands are for ) . I score out of ten and I give my go to gin (Bombay London) a 5 out of 10 to act as a baseline to judge against. We score more than once so I get an idea of how they taste over different times and occasions. Please remember these scores are personal and what I like you might not.So on to Brecon BotanicalsG&T 5/10Martini 5/10This gin was recommended to us by my Welsh mother in law. The G and T is very nice - smooth and mellow but not as sweet as the Brecon Special Reserve. It makes a flavoursome martini but is a little harsh. We didn't feel that this was any different to a number of other gins and for this reason whilst we don't regret buying this gin it hasn't made it on to our buy again list.

For the money, this is a lovely tasting gin!
For reference, this same bottle is £23 in Tesco where I regularly used to purchase it.But for £17 a bottle, this is a great tasting botanical bottle of gin. I wouldn't say it's the best tasting gin I've had (and I've had a few!), but as a cheap(er), quaffable gin, you can't beat this one!I love a botanical gin and although I hate to admit this Welsh gin is good (most of the best gins are Scottish, my home country!), it's a great price for a lovely tasting gin! They've got this one just about right!!
