Product is holing up well , applied this on a sunday and today is Friday and my patch is still sticking , only lifting a little bit . Water proof for me as I like to be in my hot tub and swim . Would recommend these if your looking for the protection dexcom G7

I recently upgraded to the Dexcom G7 from the G6 and at first was thrilled they came with their own overpatch. That was short lived when I had to change my sensor for the first time and the adhesive proceeded to rip off my skin and/or severely irritate it. It was so bad I thought I was going to have to go back to the G6, but I had to make the G7 work for at least 2 months until I could refill my G6 again through my mail order pharmacy. A friend of mine suggested a patch similar to this one so I went to Amazon to find some to try. I decided on these because of the design as well as the protective shell that fits over my G7 before I apply the overpatch. I am glad I did! Recently on vacation we swam a lot and applied a lot of sunscreen… all things that I knew would weaken the overpatch early. With the protective shell, I was able to swap out overpatches early with no issue! I suspect without it, the sensor may have stuck to the overpatch and possibly have been removed early. Maybe not though, because even the adhesive on that tiny G7 sensor is rough stuff. I have a hard time getting it off.Regardless, these patches have worked out great! They easily last the full 10 days under normal circumstances. Lots of swimming and sunblock will weaken them. Just a friendly reminder… these will leave tan lines. 😂 Obviously that’s not a complaint, just more of a warning to consider when you are placing yours.

Finally I found a overpatch I love there’s only one thing I would love to suggest to them.. if you look at my Omni pod there they leave a lil tab so it’s super easy to pull the paper off to stick it on! If you could do that these would be perfect! You see I’m older with arthritis and peeling the corners off after you have the middle stuck on is not so easy! But great product!I’m coming back to edit this to let them know that I wish they would just put a cut out in the middle so that it wouldn’t be sticky because it seems like the bumper is causing lots of Bluetooth loss issues and that is a pain in the butt. Thanks.

I love the plastic protective cover. The sticky “bandaid” type cover not so much, but ai haven’t found other suitable options. They lose the adhesive around the edges and roll up which makes them tacky looking. Trying to pull them off and change out half way through a sensor’s life isn’t fun, but overall I still like securing the sensor and protecting it with the plastic cover.

I bought the houndstooth/plaid patterns, and they worked PERFECTLY! However, I bought a different pattern and they peel away from my skin within days. I'm so disappointed, because I really loved the first batch.

The fray a little over time. I just trim it when that happens. People always comment on them. You will need adhesive remover to get them off. It sticks well, even in wet, humid, hot climates

I thought these would cover the sensor and not be as obvious. They did not stick. The patches did not last 1 full day and one patch ended up removing the sensor. Do not waste your money.

These patches are great for swimmers! I swim sometimes three times a day, for an hour at a time, in a heated pool. I tried several other patches that failed miserably. These patches last over a week, don’t leak, and kept my Stello biosensors secure for the past few months. I like the pack that comes with a small hard cap, which is oval and fits over the Stello bio sensor, preventing the swimming patch from sticking to the sensor itself. I don’t know if I’d be able to swim as much as I do, without these great patches
