Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition (Xbox One)

First of I love this game. The biggest reason is you can play the whole game co-op with a friend with your own custom characters. The story is engaging and interesting with lots of content and side quests to do.The gameplay is its biggest strength however. The combat is turn based where you take it in turns to position characters, cast spells and attack. The level of skill involved is very high it took me a good 10 hours (No joke) to get of the starting island to act 2. There where many occasions where i had to restart hour long fights because i lost. It was frustrating but when you conquered the fight it was very rewarding.The dialog options and way you tackle people is very open ended too. You can persuade, intimidate etc and avoid lots of difficult fights or quests just by taking.As a PC first game it translates well over too xbox and you can even plug in a mouse and keyboard if needed to play it.If you want a long game that has lots of replay value and depth to it this is the game for you.

Good game. Turn based nature takes some getting used to as I was expecting a more Baldurs Gate style of combat (loose turn based). Incredible depth so far and a real challenge. I’d recommend this

I've played this game on PC and bought this on Xbox for couch co-op, which works brilliantly. It's a solid game: highly customisable characters, hours and hours of content, with multiple ways to finish quests, which means each play through can be completely different. It's an immense story and the world feels huge. Lots of little fun side quests can be stumbled upon which add flavour and depth to the game world. Cannot praise this game enough. Absolutely adore it, have spent hours and hours playing it, and enjoying every moment. Beware though, you'll turn it on and suddenly it will be 5 hours later!

Huge, immersive world in which you can roam free. Superb graphics, entertaining dialogue an interesting, varied quests. Large variety of characters, skills and items to collect. But most importantly the turn based combat mechanic is superb and suits my gameplay preference - My reflexes are not quick enough for real time first person shooters, whereas this is much more cerebral which I love. It is challenging on “normal” mode, but not too much so. Looks beautiful and is (so far, after a month of quite heavy gameplay), 100% bug free on my XBox 1. The only problem is that I’m not getting as much sleep as I used to :-)

Any Mode Other Than The Lowest Setting Makes The Game Challenging If You Are Not Used To This Style Of Game. You Cant Level Up Fast Enough Compared To The Storyline, I Suggest Playing It In The Easiest Setting First.

if ya like turn base attack games then maybe u will like this game but for me its to long and very boring never finished it dont think i even got to mid point of game its just that long got bored

The second game in the series, but also an updated version of the original PC game, launched a year or so ago. Up to 4 player co-op, many play styles to choose from, in order for each type of player to take what they want from the game. Much faster to become immersed than the original. Either custom create a character, or take a 'character' to add further flavour to the game. Deep, well designed story rich environments, superb combat and highly customisable everything. If you're reading this, buy it. You'll love the game if you like rich RPGs.

116 hours of play and I'm 80% of the way through. Simply the best, funniest, most engaging RPG ever made. Because of this I've just invested in a gaming PC to play Larians next game. Baldur Gate 3

Siccome in italiano c'è una sola recensione oltre alla mia e sembra scritta da uno che non è in grado di navigare un semplice menù di opzioni mi pare giusto confermare che c'è la possibilità di impostare la lingua di tutti i testi scritti (compresi i sottotitoli) anche in italiano. Lo dico per rendere giustizia al gruppo nostrano di traduttori che ci ha lavorato e al fatto che quelli di Larian abbiano avuto l'intelligenza di comprendere il loro lavoro nella definitive edition. Detto questo il gioco è fantastico e lo consiglio a tutti gli amanti dei gdr.

Superlativo! Era dai tempi di Baldur's Gate che non provavo un titolo così profondo e sfaccettato. Solo che questo è anche meglio. Se siete amanti degli rpg,quelli veri,tattici,profondi, è un must have. E ora sottotitolato in italiano.
