I had high hopes for these because of the amount of beets per serving. The ads and reviews made it seem like these taste amazing but they don’t in my opinion. From a texture standpoint, the remind me of a cross between a soft caramel and a starburst. They have a weird beet / medicine like taste with subtle mixed berry undertones. I think I can get used to the taste and power through taking them for the health benefits but I don’t want others to be misled about the taste like I was.On a side note, it was extremely difficult for me to open the twist top. I open those tough to open twist tops all the time at home but this one had me struggling. Not sure it’s sealed that way but wanted to share.

This is an interesting Beet Root supplement. It also contains Vit C, Niacin, Vit B12, CoQ10 and Açaí which are great additions. They are also sugar free. These Heart Beets (clever name) come in the form of chews which are more like a chewy Starburst. They are individually wrapped so they don’t stick together. The flavor is quite strong, my husband liked it more than I did. They didn’t cause any stomach upset.
