Makin's USA Professional ClayCore Extruder Adapters, 3.5mm/4mm/5mm, 3 Per Package

I had no problem with the fit on my Walnut Hollow Extruder using polymer clay. It is a bit of a nuisance to clean out after use. Since one needs to use pretty soft clay in an extruder I am not totally sure this is an advantage over putting one's own holes in beads. For me, it is still under evaluation!Caveat - The second time using, I forgot to use my brain when inserting the claycore piece. Turns out if you put the claycore piece, though it will fit, you wind up bending the sprocket and it is very hard to bend back to straight! At least with this set if you bend one you have two more to use!

These are awesome!! They truly create a hole inside the extruded clay. It makes it easier to create uniform tube beads and pen covers.It is also fantastic for caning. I extrude the color I want for the outside of a bullseye or two toned circle. I then carefully cut one side adding the length and put in an extruded circle of a different color, our several colors swirled together. Then I close it back up, making sure the inside edges connect and I have a clay cylinder ready to be inserted into a cane - and the tube is uniform in size, helping me create a neater cane.The pieces are sturdier than the disks and fit both in my Makings and Walnut Hollow extruders.I am Very happy with this purchase and easily recommend it to other polymer clay enthusiasts.

The media could not be loaded.  I love these Core Extruder Adapters! They fit my green Makins clay extruder perfectly and do exactly what I want them to do :)I have no idea how I didn't know about these things sooner, but I guess it's better late than never.I tried all 3 sizes immediately and they work fantastic. I had no trouble at all getting them to fit in the extruder end or getting the screw cap back on with them in place.A great addition to my Polymer Clay tool chest.

These were ok. A little big so bought another set which was smaller. Worked great.

Watched a video on how to use these as I thought my daughter would like them for her clay figurines she makes. She LOVES them. Easy to clean and use with the green hand crank tool I bought the same day.

Use these with my extruder to make hollow beads - love it!

Very cool! Now I can make tubes of polymer clay. This is especially useful for making bails. I also make tubes that I cover with millefiori and mokumé gané that I use for beads. These things are very clever little gadgets, and I wish I'd bought them a lot sooner! They're expensive for what they are, but they make me very happy, so I bought a package of the next largest size, too.

I struggled to find this product and Amazon was the best place for price and delivery. I had seen a project on pinterest and this involved having the core adaptors, the technique worked really well and would have been impossible without them. I will be experimenting with hollow beads which are easy to make using the larger of the core adaptors.

Excellent for making thin polymer clay tubes in combination with the standard Makin's clay extruder discs. Speeds up the job of making tube beads no end! Good product, fast delivery. Would recommend product and seller.
