Jungle Junction Jungle Playset

I bought this from amazon when it was £29.99 for my daughters 3rd birthday. It is rather big so you do need a large space to put it. Very easy to take apart (i put it togeather and take it apart as and when she wants to use it so i dont have to leave it up) Quite difficult to put togeather for the first time when you have the kids trying to help aswell as there are stickers etc. so if its a present i suggest just putting it up and putting a bow on it or something the night before! very durable, im always pulling it apart to put it back in the box when my kids have finnished with it, the only bits that are not durable are the 2 paper trees. comes with zooter and elevan, zooter comes on a leaf skateboard so that her wheels fit on the tracks so she can slide down the roads properly, the skateboard is also compatable with the little bugs that come with the big hippobus (sold seperatley) both my kids love this age 5 and 3, they like using the lift and spinning the round about. definatly would reccommend! much better value than some of the other toys you can get

This is a really big item and probably it's better to assemble it prior to giving if possible. My 3 year old son is a big fan of the cartoon and so absolutely adores this playset. You can buy additional characters and there are 3 different assembly ways for the playset. So if a child gets bored with one layout you can change it. I am a bit disappointed that the trees are made from paper, not even a thick one and so they got torn in the first week. However on the whole I would definitely recommend this playset to everybody.

Not worth the money and too complicated to put together

I bought this for my 3 year old son for Christmas. I have waited a while to write a review to see how long the toy has lasted. Initially it took sometime to set up. He has played with it a bit and really enjoys the toy, however it comes apart quite easily. Also small bits keep breaking off. It's great for developing imagination and I am always trying to fathom out how it goes back together. A really sweet toy, however as it is only February I think I would say don't waste your money and buy something more robust.

I was so excited when I saw this as my son loves Jungle Junction, in particular Ellyvan and Zooter. He was so excited when he opened it on his birthday!! I tried to build it with his help, but it's quite tricky with black and white instructions - wasn't the easiest to follow. Once my son had gone to bed i carried on building it. Once it was all together it was quite impressive, i decorated with the stickers and it looked really good. However, coming to play with it wasn't that good. The leaf that comes with it, for Zooter to slide down from her house, isn't that great, it doesn't roll very well and hardly ever gets to the bottom. Ellyvan doesn't fit in Zooter's house, which i suppose makes sense, but it would have been a good idea if he did cause then you could open the door and he could fly down the road. I got a few of the duo packs of characters but none of them seem to go down the road with much ease. Like someone else said the stickers have started to peel off, the paper trees are just rubbish and have been bent and pulled out numerous times. Also, it isn't very durable at all, little ones like to hold on to things while they're playing and this just isn't up to it. Such a shame, it has the potential to be brilliant, but it's just not designed well at all. Glad i didn't pay full price for it, however, don't think it is worth what i did pay.

Grandma and Grandad opened box and then spent 2 hours figuring how to put it together (needed somebody a lot younger!)...there seemed to be a lack of detailed instructions...but may have been just us! Once together, the 3 year old loved it. How robust it will be remains to be seen as it doesnt look particularly strong.

Not sure who loved playing with this more my son, my brother's or myself. Great value for money. Quite big when set.

I have my 3-year-old's reaction upon opening this on his birthday on video, and he jumped around the room. His enthusiasm hasn't wavered and 8 weeks on it is still the first thing he plays with every morning. However, it is falling to pieces. The paper trees have all been ripped, the stickers are peeling off and, most disappointing of all, several of the plastic bits are broken. He isn't particularly rough with his toys, it's just that it is a bit flimsy. Lucky that I brought this when it was half price! I would recommend buying the figures themselves in the duo packs, but be warned that this toy is not very durable. I don't think it will see Christmas (was given in August).
