TV is light and has smart TV features
TV has amazing qualities and is perfect for my gaming set up. Surprisingly the 43 inch on 4k ran smoothly and there was no input lag. I tried various games and it played out amazingly. Unfortunately during transit it got damage but spacebound gave me my full customer satisfaction.

Big improvement over 2017 version
Bought the 2017 version of this TV but returned it and got the 2018 version instead and so glad I did. 2018 is way better in most ways. But the 2 most important are it has a built-in TV tuner now so I can watch OTA TV if internet is down or go over datacaps. Supports HDR so it's noticeably brighter than the 2017 version. Only downsides compared to 2017 version is they got rid of the bluetooth for some reason so if you gonna use app to control TV on your phone need to connect via wi-fi now instead of bluetooth. Speakers are now 8watts instead of 10watts but couldn't tell the difference and anything higher than 50 is way too loud anyways. Oh yeah energy compliant now if you trying to save on electricity. After having used this TV for a couple of weeks now learned some new stuff especially in regards to the HDR that made me knock it down a star. Seems Amazon Prime Video and Google Play don't support HDR with this TV. It's technically possible because HDR works fine with video in YouTube and also HDR works with Vuzu app. Works for other TV's so don't know what the holdup is or why they are withholding HDR support for this TV which is annoying knowing it can do it but providers won't allow it due to licensing issues. Think they should make this more clearer. Vizio website does mention it something about it in the fineprint at the very bottom of their page so nobody will notice. "Coco is not available in 4K on Google Play Movies and TV". So basically this TV comes with a built-in Chromecast ultra yet cannot play movies from Google in 4K because they won't allow it. At least Amazon lets you watch stuff in 4K but not HDR as I mentioned above :(

Great 2nd TV
It arrived sooner than expected. It was super easy to set up and has lots of applications on it. The picture is great. This is a better tv than what we were looking at in the store and it was cheaper too!

Mixed Bag
VIZIO E E43-F1 43All of the positive reviews I found mostly to be true, but, I returned mine. The problem with this set is that it has a very small sweetspot. So, if you are sitting off to the side a little, the picture is washed out/degrades. From a bed looking straight at it...picture fantastic. From, the chair close to the bed, picture noticeably degraded. This tv may work for you....if you view it close to straight-on....then you will likely be very happy with your purchase.Hard to believe a 10 yr old LCD tv, it was intended to replace, has vastly superior off axis viewing experience. So much for progress.

Picture flickering two months after end of warranty. Trash.
It was a great TV for 14 months, and now it's a relatively large paperweight.

Best bang for your buck
I bought this tv based on my great experience in the past with Vizio due to their bang for your buck and that rtings rating this as one of the best 43" tvs. As of August 29th, Amazon is the only one that carries the 43" model. I would have much rather have bought it at Costco because they offer great warranty and I know nothing about the 3rd party warranty that Amazon has advertised.(SKIP TO THE Tl;Dr if too lazy.)The picture settings out of the box are good, but to each their own. I usually calibrate TVs myself based on what I watch and how I want them to look like. However, the colours, the blacks, and the contrast are very good on this tv. The bezels and thickness are thick compared to flagship 2018 tvs but you get what you pay for, and the material is just regular cheap plastic. The sound on this tv is okay, not really tinny though. If you wanted better sounds you would buy a soundbar or a setup.I really wish there was an aux input on this tv, I used use headphones at night with my insignia tv. (-0.5)The blacks are black on a good angle, don't expect OLED levels on a $500 price point. I'm also very satisfied that mine does have any black light bleed at any corners. The box came damaged however, looks like fedex or amazon dropped it on a corner (-0.5).Tl;DrGoods:-Colours, blacks, and contrast are very good on the tv-GOOD bang for buck-built in chromecast-Many options and features-Compatible with google home and alexaCons:-Made of cheap plastic.-Box was damaged-No aux inputI would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Amazing tv for the price & picture quality
Bought this tv in November 2018...Decided on this tv over the LG-6300 and the Sony NU7100.It has great picture quality in Standard picture mode...Is very clear, bright and crisp.Has many different picture settings to choose from so it's nice that you can customize it in any way possible. It's probably the best tv to buy in the $500 dollar range...Am very satisfied with my purchase. It doesn't come with a paper manual like most electronics but you can find the user manual in the settings menu of the tv.The only drawback I don't like of this tv is the feet or stand of the tv...Just feels like it's easier/proned to tip over easier if you've got pets or children around...But other then that it's a great tv for both price and picture quality.Very happy with my purchase.

Probably the best picture quality on the market for this size.
There aren't any other TV's on the market with Dolby Vision, Local Dimming and not edge lit at this size. Unfortunately I had to pay full price as it is hard to find in Canada. You'd have to go with a 55" oled to get much better picture. The details in dark scenes is great for a VA panel. Off angle viewing isn't as bad as my older and much more expensive Sony. I can't get Dolby Vision working on XBOX games or 4K blu-ray even yet though I get the check mark in the settings screen. Dolby vision is working great on the new Fire Stick 4K.

10/10
Got it for 600cad$ It’s a pretty amazing deal. The colors are perty and the resolution is amazing. The menu is good and there’s a lot of customization that can be done. For gamers there’s not that big of a delay, on Xbox I don’t notice it at all and on pc I use it has a secondary screen, the delay is tolorable, I can play csgo or watever other games with no problems and I am comparing it with a 144hz 1ms monitor. Really recommend.

Revised Product Review
This small-size 2018 Vizio TV recommended in UK & America re: picture quality for watching movies; setup TV demo of picture quality lived up to this billing. RATINGS: 5-star ($$$ value) // 4-star (picture quality) though among the best of 2018 4K TVs in 39-43" range // 3-star (audio quality) ~ needs soundbar for audio to complement video experience.Unfortunately, NO user manual included with TV to understand remote function & product features (Vizio provides user manual in .pdf format on their website); NO customer service toll-free tel-no in Canada for assistance; also, E-mails unanswered by Vizio (perhaps a bad link connection). Hopefully, Vizio will improve customer service for Cdn buyers.
