Good experience using with citric acid DIY
Bought 2 as add on items, paid $3 bucks for the first and $6 for the second. This was a upgrade from using tree branches, which works extremely well. Search YouTube( worlds best and cheapest cO2 diffuser) if you are curious. The first is working awesome. Never seen my bubble counter go so slow and my drop checher nice and green or yellow. My diy solutions going to last forever. The 2nd. Well I tried that rubber black one from Amazon, Fluval Im pretty sure. It does work with citric acid but I was flying through my solution. But now that I,ve switch to this one and my bubble counter is still cruising I think I probably got an issue somewhere else in my 2nd DIY setup. Check valve holding up the pressure or leaking or a leak in the bubble counter or something. No experience with the yeast method. If that's what you use. Check out the citric acid/ baking soda method. There's a kit on amazon or check out DIY King on YouTube. Happy fish and plant keeping and whatever other creatures and organisms you might have.

You Got Into High Tech Tanks And Thought You'd Get By With Cheap Parts? Muahahahaha!
So you're new to C02 injection and don't wanna pay 25 bucks for a high quality diffuser? Same here. In a nutshell, this is an OK diffuser. You'll definitely have wasted 50% or more of C02 in the form of bigger bubbles but there also is a steady stream of micro bubbles. I need to run 4-5 bubbles per second just to keep my 20 Long at proper C02 levels. C02 is cheap so I don't really care. The only real issue here is the noise of the diffuser making the larger bubbles, coming thru as a "fizzing" sound. Not normally an issue but it's in my bedroom so it can be quite annoying when working. My honest recommendation? If you're actually strapped for cash I guess this would suffice. If you have the cash but are a cheap-skate, just buy the nice one and stop whining about the expense of the hobby. I thought I could get away cheap too, and now I'm writing this review....

Handle with Care
It's made of glass, unsurprisingly if you accidentally pull the suction cup off the glass to forcefully and hit the side of the tank...it can break.Otherwise it's beautiful and worked well for a short period of time. I think it might possibly have stood up to punishment better so dropped a star... but its still good value as long as you remember its FRAGILE.

but the bubbles are super tiny so that is okay
This diffuser works well. It's my first diffuser ever so I don't have a lot to compare to, but for the price and size, it's just what I needed. I have this in a 7g cube at around 2 bubbles per second. Four stars rather than five because the diffuser disc doesn't evenly bubble... one side bubbles more and the other doesn't really... but the bubbles are super tiny so that is okay. My HC carpet is growing super fast, pearling every day, and filling in so it's obviously diffusing well enough :)

Not impressed
The media could not be loaded. I bought two of these. When the first one started "going bad" I replaced it with the second, and they both did the same thing -- they worked OK for a day or two but it seems like the ceramic is too porous, and bubbles mostly start to rise out of the same few points in the diffuser. At first there is the fine "mist" as you would expect from a quality ceramic diffuser, but it eventually turns into larger bubbles that quickly rise to the surface. It seems only slightly better than a ceramic air stone at this point. Not to mention, this thing is LOUD and once the large bubbles start emerging, they make a faint but annoying whistling sound. I'm using pressurized co2 but I am not pushing much through this (I only have a 10gal tank).

This is a very nice small diffuser
This is a very nice small diffuser. Perfect for the nano tank. The only issues I have with it is that some of the bubbles are larger than the others, but I think that a quick bleach dip will clean it up and take care of that. I also dislike the red writing on the glass, but that obviously doesn't affect the output of it.

Wish It Had Smaller Bubbles
Im pretty disappointed, I thought they would be finer bubbles but they are just the same as if I used an air stone :(

Small, but effective.
Seems to do the job just fine. I was hesitant to buy a no-name product, but I think it actually works a bit better than my previous brand name model.I didn't get a good feel on how big this was until I got it. Had I known, I probably would have bought a larger one, but it seems to work just fine.

The smallest and least noticeable in the aquarium, that I found.
This product is for both finely diffusing CO2 in aquarium water and to be able to qualitatively assess CO2 flowing into your aquarium. If you fill the cup with water under the glass pores to about half, 3/4th, the CO2 appears as countable bubbles in that space that you can empirically correlate to the proper level of CO2 infusion required by your aquarium. The bubbles coming through at the top of the glass pores are an even sortiment of about 0.6-0.9 mm under 60 bubbles per minute CO2 flow rate. The item i received is strong enough, small enough, has an esthetic proportion of curves and bits. Neatly manufactured. Inexpensive. It can be brushed and bleached when clogged for cleaning. I am happy with it. Even if you do not have CO2, this will serve perfectly as an air stone in a small tank.

Decent diffuser
I was expecting a bit more from this, but you get what you pay for. Works, but I was looking for a bit smaller bubbles and the suction cup took a bit to stick on the tank. Here's hoping it stay suction on and not pop off in the next few months.

Plugged up fast
I’m using this in a planted saltwater tank with seagrass, it produced very fine bubbles for a while but I think it has started to get clogged already, this being said it May last longer on freshwater, I’m really not sureVote Helpful!

Works but bubbles are too big.
It works but the bubbles it produces are too big and most just go to the surface and pop. I recommend spending more and a getting a quality piece.
