A clever gadget that solved an important problem
The media could not be loaded. This is a very handy tool and allowed our senior to put on socks by themselves. The straps are wide but fit well in the hands and are sturdy and well-adhered to the foot piece. Just slide the socks on the bottom of the gadget, slide your foot into the sock, and pull upward using the straps. Affordable and necessary tool at a fair price. Also included are straps to pull up pants in a similar manner.

What a wonderful tool to put on socks!!
I found this tool very easy to use and it does the job wonderfully well. I can't bend over or bring my feet close enough when I cross my legs to put on socks easily. I just bunch up the sock, pull it on the tool and then drop the tool to the floor, insert my foot and pull the tool's leads. The sock just comes off the tool onto my foot just where I want them. I do have to tidy up the tops, but that is easy. Love the tool!

Great tool to have. For elderly or after a surgery.
When you can’t reach your feet to put your socks on after surgery, this tool is amazing and life changing. Wish I had invented it. $$$$

Effective, easy to use, but not sturdy enough for compression socks
I love this product. It is great for assisting with regular socks. However, I now have to use calf-length compression socks which requires much more strain to pull on. The strap rips from the base after only two weeks use. The strap needs to be more rugged if used for compression socks. I am in the process of gluing the broken strap to the side of the base in hopes I can get more use out of the sock assist.UPDATEGluing the broken strap to the side of the sock assist as shown in the first photo only held for about 2 weeks. I cut through the material covering the notch in the side of the sock assist, threaded the strap through the slit, and glued it back on itself as shown in the second photo. This has held well for over 2 months of daily use. The glued strap is shown next to a new item which I purchased as backup in case the glued strap would fail again.UPDATEAfter several months of daily use the other strap ripped. The previously-repaired side continues to hold well. I slit the fabric covering the ripped off side, threaded the broken strap through the slit and glued it back on itself as shown in the picture. It should now last a long time with the two straps now firmly anchored.

I am so glad I discovered this...
I stuggled for almost 2 years to be able to put my socks on. I got hit by a pick-up as a pedestrian and broke my left hip among other things. So when I got out of hospital and got home I had problem bending over and putting on my socks . This product is a god send and makes life easier to do this task. All you have to do is put the sock on the end with the three prongs, pull all the way up to the open end than put it on the floor put your foot into the open end, using the straps that are connected at the open end pull onto your leg and the sock slides off onto your foot. I highly reccomend this for seniors or people with a disability such as myself that is I gave this the 5 stars. This made my life much more easier in something simple like putting my own socks on.

Can't use for narrow dress or sports socks
The concept is excellent but the manufacturer needs to go back to the drawing board. This works perfectly when putting on wide fleece winter socks but is useless when trying to put on dress socks or sports socks. The actual tool that you put the sock on is way too wide and you don't want to squeeze it to make it more narrow because it will break. I'm still searching for something that will work for those of us who cannot reach our feet to put on socks due to hip surgery

Must have!
Wonderful assistive device. I recently had hip replacement surgery. My sister recommend that I purchase this. It has been a lifesaver since I haven’t been allowed to bend over. Even four months post-op I use it everyday. Highly recommend this product!
