Oster Black Stainless Toaster

We had this same make/model Oster for at least 6 years with constant use and never had any issues. One day it started to not work quite right so to be safe and not sorry we opted to get a new one. Of course we bought the same Oster which is this one and it is as good and/or better than the first. Fits any size bread, bagel or whatever you can think of. Versatile as a toaster, defroster or just crisping four frozen waffles at the same time. Looks really cool, too! ✨

Never did it take me so long to choose an item as a toaster! I got super bogged down reading review after review of different toaster models and eventually landed on this one. I've had it for a few months now and it works great! It has a really nice sleek design and all the settings I could ask for. The price point is reasonable and it's very easy to use. I'm really glad I ended up buying this toaster. I just wish I hadn't spent so much time trying to decide!

this is a nice looking toaster, shines up well and looks good on counter. Dial for toasting is easy to use and adjusts toast well. Bread, waffles, etc do not toast evenly, with bottom portion toasting darker than upper portion. Occasionally need to turn toast over to get a little better overall toast. I am not using abnormal bread or waffles, size is regular Eggo frozen waffle and standard loaf bread, not the longer slices.

I purchased this after my old toaster decided popping up was no longer its job and nearly burned the kitchen down. This new toaster is quite large but has a nice design.Pros: Thick bagels, 4 slices of toast, and wide loaf slices all fit with ease. The food pops up to a convenient height to grab easily. So far, items are toasted evenly.Con: I highly suggest turning the toaster on for the very first time once you receive it without food in it. You can smell the plastics the first time.

We've battled with many toasters over the years. We mainly just got inexpensive ones, figuring you could only get so much out of a darn toaster. But after getting sick of inconsistent burnt toast and waffles that were either soggy or rock hard, I finally splurged on this Oster. And it's been worth every penny! I have figured out my perfect toast settings and consistently get good results. My favorite features are the FROZEN and BAGEL settings, that ensure my wide bagels and my son's frozen waffles always turn out great. And this toaster is much taller/bigger than our other cheapo's, it sits all mighty on the counter with a beautiful easy to clean finish. For toasters, this one gets two thumbs up and impressed me enough to write a damn review for it! (:

This is the least expensive but by far the best toaster I’ve tried over the last year or so. Granted it’s not the fanciest, high tech “she she” toaster out there, but it outperforms all others when it comes to blending form, function, dependability and safety. It actually delivers toast quickly and the way you want it.

2023 UPDATE: This is the worst appliance I have ever purchased. I stand by my initial review below - written 5 months after purchase. I had contacted Oster - a company I've always considered reputable - and was given some "troubleshooting tips", ie; cleaning out the crumb tray more frequently. I was already doing this and eventually would just pull it out and snap it back in WITH EVERY USE (regardless of whether there were crumbs in there) in case this magically helped it to work. We even sought out "troubleshooting toaster" videos on YouTube. While the intent of the Oster customer service was to help - one can't help take exception to the idea that the purchaser is somehow responsible (through not enough or inadequate crumb tray cleaning), for the failing of the appliance. I have been toasting bread for over 5 decades and have never had to put this much time and attention into trying to get a toaster to toast a friggin' piece of bread. In the 22 months I've owned this - I would say about 30% of the time, the lever stayed down with consecutive pieces of toast; 50% of the time it allowed me to toast bread only a single time; and 20% of the time, the lever would not stay down AT ALL and we just opted to not have toast. When it DID toast, at least half the time the toasting was very uneven; nearly burnt edges and other parts barely toasted (and yes we are aware different types of bread slices vary in shape and thickness). I understand appliances are made more and more cheaply and are not made to last (anymore) - and the "savings" are then passed to the consumer - but I would happily pay more to have a functioning appliance that lasts a long time. By April of 2023 this toaster completely stopped functioning - less than 2 years after purchase - and sadly will likely end up in a landfill.From Nov. 2021Toast lever will not stay down. Happened a few times when I first purchased it but didn't think much of it. When it started to happen more frequently I contacted Oster as I was past my return window. While awaiting a reply I got it to work again; I thought maybe the crumb tray was not seated properly because when I took it out and re-seated it, the lever finally worked! I thought this was a safety feature. Turns out it was just a coincidence because this issue keeps happening with increasing frequency - I have been unable to use it. When the lever does miraculously stay down and actually toast - the toasting is uneven; some pieces even have had burnt edges and no brown at all on the other half. Currently, I can not get the lever down, AGAIN and in fact none of the lights even light up any more. The color is sharp - so as long as you like to pretend you have a functioning, cool looking toaster sitting on your counter - and don't mind that it will actually change your breakfast plans routinely - this product is for you. Personally, I would just tape a picture of the toaster on your counter and you will have less frustration. I've had this 5 months.

I ordered a 2 slot toaster and I received a 4 slot toaster. I'm limited for room in my kitchen so this was too big and bulky for the space I have. The toaster doesn't toast evenly.

Headline says it all. Another great Warehouse deal! Long slot is amazing for French stick breadThe warehouse has a personal satisfaction rate of about 9/10 so far. A couple of misses but so many great deals! Have a look yourself if you like hunting for bargains, and if it is a dud returns are super easy. Win-win.

Este tostador si tuesta en serio. Muy potente, que para pan de campaña se necesita. Es bonito, aunque grande, ya que acepta rebanadas de pan gourmet largo, que no cabe en tostadoras normales, de pan bimbo. Lo recomiendo mucho.

En su ranura cabe rebanada de hogaza o 1/3 de baguette
