We all enjoy it!
We purchased this for my 10mo old for Christmas. He can stand assisted and is starting to cruise along furniture. We also have a 6yr old so you can imagine the toys that are available to our little guy.Packaging- This is quite a large box. I chose the regular packaging instead of the frustration free packaging. There were three boxes total. The Amazon box, inside that was the suppliers box and inside that was the toy box. When you open it, there’s a ton of parts, directions and a small packet of screws (which we were missing three). The directions are easy enough to follow but do get confusing towards the end. For some reason they wanted you to put a piece on one side/pole and then switch to the other. Why they couldn’t just have you build the entire ramp on one pole is what I was wondering. I was able to build it in about 30 minutes but I was also doing other things. I wasn’t hard, you just have to pay attention. Now for the product- This is large, as you can read on other reviews. I’m 5’4” on a tall day and this was quite a bit taller than me when I was sitting. The is an on/off switch that also has two volume levels (thank you manufacturer!) The music is actually decent, compared to other kids toys. It sounds like a musical version of something you’d hear on the radio. The baby loves it and I don’t mind it. (granted We’ve only had it a day) There a multiple balls that come with it, I believe 8. Several are scattered around the house at this point so I can only see 5 on the toy. There’s two different ramps the balls can go down. No matter what ramp they use, they end up collecting on a ramp/tray at the bottom. Very easy to the kids to get to. The yellow thing at the top has a hole on the side to put the ball in and it spits it out onto a “trampoline” that bounces into the tallest ramp. It actually works and the balls end up where they should. I had my doubts and was happy it works. You can also put the balls on this ramp yourself. To those that complain that there’s only two ramps, most kids don’t put the ball at the beginning, they stick the ball wherever they can reach. There are several things on this that turn the music and lights (lights are on the main post in middle) on when the balls passes by. The balls included are a little heavier than the plastic balls we have for other toys but they all work on this toy (HUGE BONUS!) There is also a gate, a spinny thing (yellow thing on the blue pole) and a “beach” ball with a smaller ball inside that has a bell in it) (6yr old love boxing this and it hasn’t show signs of breaking)This toy is sturdy enough that my little guy can pull himself up on and it doesn’t wiggle too much.I’m glad we got this toy and would buy it again. I like to sit down with my boys, I help my baby by showing him where things can go; the 6yr old tries different trick with it.

Great if you can get it at the right price
Yes, it took a good hour to put together, but this is the price you pay for the thing being quite sturdy. And it is. Which - I think - is important, particularly since the kids will climb into and onto it every possible way.Yes, it is big, takes up quite a bit of room. I would not recommend this for small apartments. Sorry.Yes, it 'gets old' quickly. But - at least our son - does go back to it later and plays with it again. And again. And next day again. And again. This is for toddlers, don't forget. And he loves the music, had learned to turn the switch himself, plays with the switches, tries other balls and items in the chutes, etc. It is a toy he experiments with because it is solid enough. (So that one hour build time does pay off.)My biggest negative is that the regular price - around $60 - is just too high. I got it he on amazon at a special sale for $30 and woot was selling the other day for that price again. For $30 this is a great toy, for $60, I would think about it twice before jumping.

Fun, Awesome, toy
I just bought this toy for my son's first birthday. And he loves it and has been entertained by it. The only downside in my opinion is the assembly. It does take a bit of time assembling it. But all the pieces had numbers on the back of the pieces corresponding to the directions. Overall the directions were easy to follow. Just need a Philips screwdriver and three C batteries. My son enjoys playing with the balls and crawling through the door/gate. This toy does take up space. It comes with eight plastic balls, and an inflatable ball with a jingle ball inside. The tones/ music reminds me of dance, clubbing /techno. music. The music plays once it is turned on, it has two levels of volume. The music and lights are activiated when the balls are dropped down the spiral slides and go through the spinners. So far it has held up and works well. My older 5 year old daughter also will play along with my son. And she enjoys it also. It is fun, fun, fun toy! I found that Amazon has the best price on this, I also looked at Wallmart and Toys R us and their prices were around $70.00.

I wish I had this as a kid!
This was suggested to me by a friend as I was looking for a fun present for my niece's 1st birthday. My husband put it together, so I don't have a lot of feedback on set up, be he didn't have any issues. I did have to partially take it apart to fit in my car (I do have a small SUV for reference) for delivery to the party, and I had no problem with that. When it comes to playing.....ALL the kids at the birthday party were fighting over it. They played with it all day. They were also all different ages, probably ages 1-5. It is sturdy, and no issues with all the kids playing with it. It is fairly large, so have the room (I'm sure there will be pay back if I ever have a child). The music is really fun even for an adult, more techno like. And it is so great that there are different "levels" of height so that kids can grow into it. I'm so glad I purchased this for my niece!

broken piece
This toy first came in a cardboard box NOT from Fisher Price, just a box with pieces thrown in there, no plastic around pieces, like it was a return that was sent out again. Then one of the pieces was broke, had to return it and reorder the whole thing.

Fisher Price Cruise and Groove Ballapalooza
My husband and I got this for our 1 yr old daughter. She absolutely loves her toy. Not only does she like to put balls in the hole compartment but enjoys to weave her way around the two doors. We have not yet tried the motion sensor when she passes through one of the doors. This toy is very stable and is not flimsy. I would recommend to any parent(s) with a 1 yr old. Also this toy gives plenty of colorful plastic balls for the little ones to play and with others. My boys 12, 8, and 6 yr old enjoys playing with their little sister because there are plenty of plastic balls...6 of them. Furthermore, if one is looking fine motor skills this is the one.
