I was so excited to find these to match with my home. I thought they were rubber/plastic style place mats. They are thin material. Still okay for the price but did not meet my expectations.

These look awesome and match my mid-century style and colors perfectly. However, they are extremely thin, slide easily on my table, and after one machine wash one of them had a seam unraveling. Better to have just for looks, but not actually use. I went with a set of faux leather mats instead.

The colors are great. I also love the fact that these are washable. I get to eat my dinner and pretend I'm at the beach now.

It was a big mistake when we order this place mat set online, as we couldn't see the real material. We ordered two sets of this kind, and were so disappointed due to its poor quality: we never see such thin place mats!! They are as thin as your napkins or probably have the same thickness as your tablecloth!! We wanted to return them but we have to pay our own shipment fee in order to send them back to the seller, with the strange address (more likely overseas- not in the U.S.)!! We later found these similar kinds at Ross (3 times cheaper on price ) or Home Goods (much less, probably about 1/2 price) than this set we bought from Amazon; while the quality is great, as our expectation!

I love these! Colors are rich! Yes, they are thin, but I do not care about that! Looks so rich and beautiful on the dark blue tablecloth! Love them! Yes, they were high priced, but they are elegant looking.

They are more beautiful than in the picture, a bit thin, but REALLY nice. Worth every penny.
