SEIKO 12 Inch Round Wood Classic Wall Clock, White,Brown

Love this clock. The color goes great in my dining room/kitchen. I love that it is quite and made out of wood.

We ordered and returned several clocks before we found this one. We like the appearance, it doesn't look as "fake wood" as the other clocks did. It keeps time well, is completely silent, and goes well with the wood floors and furniture that we have in the living room. We like the styling of the numbers. Although we feel this clock is a bit overpriced, we give it a 5 because it is so much better than any of the other clocks that we tried, both in appearance and operation.

This clock looks very nice--very basic--and so far is keeping perfect time. It's easy for old-me to read from across the room, which is what I wanted. The face is bright white and the numbers huge. The second hand is gold, which for me is great because when all 3 hands are the same color it drives me nuts.However, as opposed to feeling like solid hardwood with some heft, like the older wooden clock I'm replacing, it's relatively light and not truly a hardwood clock, but rather sort of a seamed veneer? or thin piece of wood? mounted via screws to the back of the clock. Which is black plastic and seems to be where most of the weight comes from.And yes, it does protrude from the wall.But it looks nice & keeps time so it's all good.

This clock is accurate! Even though it sounds ridiculous, I have been searching for well over a year for a clock that actually does its job. I have to punch a time clock at work and I came to rely heavily on my kitchen clock so that I know when to leave and what not. I purchased several clocks that did not work or worked for a couple of weeks and could not hold time. All made in China, so I searched out American made wall clocks with American made movements, once again, couldn't hold time. I tried the atomic automatic update wall clocks, also junk, could not get the signal in my local.At this point, I was ready to give up until I tried this Seiko, success! Movement made in Thailand, go figure. Anyways, I couldn't be happier, it hasn't lost any time since I set it, about time, lol

The information on this clock led me to believe it was made in the USA by Seiko an American company. Wrong —says made in China on the back. I try to avoid ‘made in China’ . I paid more because I thought it was made here. Says it’s made of wood. Very plastic looking wood. Looks good if you don’t get too close .

This is the third Seiko clock I have -- I bought it for my kitchen because of the large and legible numbers and the proven quality of the Seiko name. I have two other Seiko clocks which have kept perfect time for over 20 years. I am very pleased with this one and expect the same long and accurate performance as the others have provided.

This is not a wooden wall clock but pure plastic! Don't mislead buyers.
