Fit perfectly!
Installed easily after modifications to fit the fan (jumpers). Working like a charm!

Exactly like the switch that was removed, except how the wires attached to the switch.
The six pins have the wires firmly attached and had to bend them over in order to fit within the fan cavity. Worked great, even after bending the wires at the switch end. The previous switch had the wires simply soldered on.

Repaired a Hunter fan with this switch.
I have a 25 year old Hunter cast iron body ceiling fan which stopped working in the ‘forward’ direction, would only run in reverse. I contacted Hunter in an ATTEMPT to purchase a new reversing switch, but, Hunter advised that the fan was “obsolete” and they had NO REPLACEMENT PARTS. Well ain’t that just dandy. Further, the “Lifetime Warranty” promised in their literature for this fan only covers the FAN MOTOR, not any of the electrical parts - isn’t that wonderful? So, I purchased one of these Canal Reversing switches and modified the switch so it would fit in the old Hunter. Now, let me say it took me a while to figure out how to mount the switch as Hunter had a special made switch with a really odd shaped metal mounting plate on it (so that was my first challenge). Then, the Hunter switch has two circuit-crossing jumpers built inside the original switch (where you can’t see them) and I had a tough time figuring that trick out. But, with plenty of effort, I was able to use the Canal switch successfully to get my old dependable Hunter running in both directions. Cost me $7.00 at Amazon to save THROWING AWAY a perfectly good old fan that has served me faithfully every day for 25 years.Edit 11/7/2022. The Canal Reversing Switch is still working fine so I am going to try to attach a drawing I made of the wiring details. I hope you can see the wiring colors, but the attachment process to this edit would only allow a 'photo' of the artwork and not a .pdf which would be quite clear - anyway... it was all that was allowed. NOW do BE AWARE that the colors noted on my drawing (closest to the switch) are for the Canal Reversing Switch I received several months ago, be careful about that as the colors soldered to the switch MIGHT CHANGE with the production run. Anyway, here is a drawing and I hope you can read the details on it.

Works as advertised, but no mounting screws included
You get exactly what is pictured, the toggle switch with 6x wires. While the colors differ from any standard wiring system (and no diagram/schematic included), its fairly straightforward to figure out the connections. I was surprised to not find mounting screws included in the package though, good luck finding the right diameter/pitch machine screws needed to mount this in your fan...
