MATHEMATICAL ELEMENTS FOR COMPUTER GRAPHICS

I bought three books recently-publisher McGraw and what a waste. Gone are the days of flipping pages of a book again and again.Such was the printing and paper quality. Remember TataMH,now the original McGraw is selling cheap Indian edition with third rate paper, a paper so thin that the otherside printing impression makes reading very difficult plus the 'tissue' grade paper always has a risk of getting torn while flipping.All for the sake of cost control.Highly dissatisfied.Dont buy McGraw hill India books.Pearson,Wiley etc. are far better

Received damaged book for 2 consecutive times. Not expected this kind of service for Amazon fulfilled Items.Otherwise this book is very good at explaining the fundamentals for computer Graphics.

Understanding of Graphics in more research oriented way will be helpful through this book. Problem solving methods are well described here.

Love this book

This was one of the coolest technology books I've read, since I loved the topic and it was well written and explained. Please buy it if you want to know the theory behind computer graphics (like how the videocard and monitor interact to draw pixils on the screen and polygons as well) otherwise save your money if you think this will help you MAKE computer graphics. This book is all interesting theory and nothing to do with actually making the graphics themselves, unless you plan on doing it with a 1970's computer or writing your own graphics card bios or driver (or maybe a rewrite of directx?)

Good book for understanding many of the subtleties of matrices and curves. It takes an experimental approach which I find refreshing. (such as what happens to a vector point if we change the matrix like this...)

I got a used version, in reasonable condition. I wish the book was still being updated with new editions.
