Spoiler-Free Review
When I first started to read Arzach, I had the funny feeling that I'd read it or seen it before. Of course, I had, in a myriad of movies, comics and now even TV shows. Moebius's influence is profound. I'm reminded of Bendis's introduction to The Incal, begging its readers not to rip it off.I am certain that over time, Moebius will be remembered as Charlie Parker is, and that his imitators will be as forgotten to time as Charlie Parker's imitators have been forgotten despite their superior popularity when Parker was still alive. There's more French text than I expected, but it only spurs me further to get out my old French dictionary and get as much as I can get out of this wonderful volume, which costs less than $5 in Kindle format. *****

Moebius is Awesome!
I was frantically looking for affordable printings of his work. All the booklets and magazines that came out 20 and 30 years ago during the peak of his fame are now pricey collector's items, so I was very happy to find this compilation of his Arzach series. Some may be disappointed to find that since this is a French publication the text is in it's original French, but I don't mind that as it is his highly detailed ink drawings that I admire and are the main attraction here.If you are an artist or just a fan this volume is an important addition for your art library!Moebius was such a prolific illustrator back in the 70's I hope more of his work will be in print soon but I'm happy to have found this volume as this series is considered by many to be his best.

Fantastic
May not be the largest of his work, but might be one of his best

Kinda pricey...
Pretty expensive for a very small volume. Great quality and printing. Love his style and size is large. Overall worth it, but pretty expensive for my budget.

Enthralling images!
I love Jean Giraud's (Moebius) imagery. I think being able to speak French might be a disadvantage in this case. It somehow makes the images more exotic, harking back to the Exoticism of the 19th century. But a pure Exoticism, not a re-imagining of racial stereotypes.

Five Stars
Pure Moebius delights. This book is in French but the graphics speak for themselves.

legendary art
Moebius is no more physically, but he will live on forever through his legendary art, that makes him immortal.i was amazed at unavailability of his definitive art book, for example, Dark horse's recent releases of works of Corben and Bernie Wrightson. I was lucky to buy this book from amazon.ca for 26 bucks, and as soon as i bought the copy, (i think that was the last available one), the price went up to 192 bucks, seriously, some book publisher must come forward and make this legendary artists work available to all the art lovers for affordable price.this hardcover book i bought, was from a french publisher, so i couldnt understand what was written in the introduction, and some dialogues in the stories inside, but i bought this book for its art only, and i wasnt disappointed, its a large sized book, very nice colours, majority (80 percent) of the book is colour, remaining stories are in black and white, like i said, Moebius's art literally takes you away to his alien worlds, its breathtaking, i am so happy and contend, i finally have his second book at an affordable price in my collection, the first one being Silver Surfer - parable, by Stan Lee and Moebius. Get that one too, its available on amazon at very low price.
