Well made coat
Well made coat. Fabric is very nice and will hopefully be very warm during winter. Not tried it on my dog with harness yet. I think I may have an issue as there is no cutout for the harness ring at the point where its need. May have to adjust the harness and fit it over the coat.Size was an issue as it was very difficult to get right. We have a large Whippet so went on their recommended sizes. When we tried to fit the coat on our dog, it was far too small. Had to deal directly with the seller in order to exchange it for a larger size. Whippets and Greyhounds are very difficult to size correctly. Company was great and exchanged the coat, though P&P for the exchange had to be paid for by ourselves as it was our fault for ordering the wrong size. I would recommend purchasing a coat one size up from what you think your dog needs.

Great Product for our Saluki X
We own a 3 year old blonde Saluki X and I was beginning to despair about finding her a winter coat online 'cos of her shape and size.'Normal' coats don't work as she's got that greyhound profile where her body dips in at the back. She also doesn't like having things pulled over her head, and this ticked all my boxes with the velcro fastening at the front.Hoorah!!We tried it out straightaway on a cold, wet, rainy evening and she didn't protest and could move well without being restricted. There's room to get her lead through the hole at the top, and as she wears a harness, the hole was in just the right place to attach her lead. The fastening round the tummy fixes well and doesn't undo or get in the way.She looks very posh in it, and it has the added bonus of reflective strips on the edges.Happy doggie, happy owners!

Super quality snug coat for my larger than average whippet!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Arrived quickly, lovely quality, really like the soft 'belt' with velcro fastening (had this on another coat and always liked it) also handy having the velcro fastening at chest so we can pad him out with extra layers on very cold days. The lining is slightly thicker/fluffier than his other coat so this is a great addition for winter.Nice bright hi-vis, good shape and depth for a taller / chunkier whippet like him. And judging by his reaction to first try on, he likes it!! Will def buy from this company again.

Elegant, reflective and great fit!
Bought this for our cross dog that is very slender with long legs and super skinny waist. Fits like a dream! It's possible to wrap and fasten it at the front and the waist to achieve the desired fit as the ties are long lined with velcro. The coat is very elegant and smart and looks lovely. Keeps my dogs very dry and clean, even down the legs. Not restrictive for them to run in either which is fab as they love to play chase! The jacket is highly reflective at night when headlights or torch shine on it, I was pleasantly surprised by how reflective it is as the jacket doesn't show any sign of reflective stitching in the daylight. Very clever!

You won't get better!
The coats from this seller are just fantastic. The quality of the fabric and their workmanship is 10 out of 10. I bought two matching coats (1 for a Whippet and 1 for an Italian Greyhound) from the showerproof range in red tartan. I had a small issue with the belly strap on smallest one for my Iggy. Without any hesitation, the staff at Ginger Teds were brilliant and sorted out the problem straight away. I feel you just won't get better quality or service from any other seller - why look anywhere else...

Very good Greyhound/Whippet coat
I bought a 22" Ginger ted Greyhound/Whippet coat for Reggie my long dog (Grey/hound/Whippet cross) but found it was much too small. I then returned it and goth the 24", which generally fits much better. The coat is very well made and fits well in the body. The stitching is very well done and the outer feels like it can take some punishment (Reggie like running though the under growth and trees and it doesn't show any signs of ripping). The fleece lining is very warm and Reggie has taken to it well. When taking Reggie out at night the piping shows up if you shine a torch on it, which is useful. The coat uses Velcro to do up and so far it has worked well. As I have said Reggie likes to run around and it hasn't undone yet (though in the past I have found Velcro does go over time (fingers crossed this doesn't happen)).I don't find the hole to put the lead though that useful, though I understand why it is there. My big problem is the waist strap is around 1-2" too small. The coat does do up but it catches on the outside piping of the coat, which has start fluffing slightly (Reggie is slightly thicker set than most greyhound/Whippets but not unduly so)Apart from the waist strap I am very impressed with the coat and would recommend it to Greyhound/Whippet owners.

Decent winter coat for my oddly shaped bull-whippet-collie-greyhound cross
Great coat overall. Decent quality and perfect thickness for warmth. Was a mission to find a coat that fit my oddly shaped bull-whippet-greyhound-collie cross pup, but this one did the job. Although I might add that the front 'flaps' of the coat come down the front legs a little too far. I'd put this down to her odd shape though. Stays on well even when she's rolling around in the mud with her best dog mates. Kept her warm during this cold winter, particularly when lead/street walking. She has, however, nearly outgrown the 20". I will likely buy her the next size up next winter! One downside is that the coat is only rainproof, definitely not properly waterproof. It's also annoying to clean as it suggests not to machine wash (hand washing it isn't the easiest task!). Consequently, the coat smells pretty bad - which is ok, I suppose, because she's a dog and loves to be stinky.

Ginger Ted Greyhound Coat
Not only do I like the product, my greyhound loves it too and didn't want me to take it off. Very well made from good quality materials. The velcro fastening at the front stops having to drag it over the dogs ears which some greyhounds find painful and the belly strap had plenty of adjustment.
