This is a fun, fast-paced game that’s perfect for bringing the whole family together! We introduced it during a holiday dinner to get everyone involved, and it was an instant hit. The gameplay is highly adaptable—each person created a unique "rule" for the winning dice combination, and we took turns rolling until someone achieved it first. This flexibility is one of the game’s standout features, making it endlessly entertaining and easy to customize for any group.Another great aspect is that additional dice can be purchased to expand the number of players, which makes it even more inclusive. However, I wish the set came with the rule cards or the companion book that is currently sold separately. For the price, a more complete package would be appreciated. Despite this, the game provided plenty of laughs and excitement, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. My family had an absolute blast!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: First of all, this is a great set of dice. Packing is nice, dice are great colors and the game is easy and fun. The problem with this set is that is smells like the dice were soaked in gasoline or kerosene. I saw another review here that mentioned the same problem. When I got the set, I assumed everything was fine as I didn't notice any smell. But after playing a bit, I put the dice up to my nose and the reeked of gasoline. Everyone noticed it and now refuses to use the dice. I have tons of games and have never noticed a similar problem. So, just to check, we went through our games 20+ that use dice and checked. None of the dice had any smell. It makes me wonder what sort of paint or chemicals are being used to make these dice. I'll write to the company today via the email addresses on their website and see if they can resolve this and I'll update this review and alter the rating if necessary.UPDATE (same day as review): At Tenzi, customer service is clearly very important. I wrote to them and within minutes got an explanation for the issue, a possible solution, and an offer to replace. I'm going to give their suggestion a try (that being to leave the dice out of the case for a few days) and see how that works out. Will update after that.UPDATE (3/12/15): Now 5-stars. Tenzi replaced my dice free of charge. Steve@Tenzi really went above and beyond to help. They also said that they are addressing the issue I had originally. As I said before, this is a great set of dice. Packing is nice, dice are great colors and the game is easy and fun. And if you have any issues, just contact Tenzi and they will straighten it out.

I recently played this with adult friends and thoroughly enjoyed that it was easy to learn and fast paced! I bought it and played with my grandsons (ages 8 and 6). I thought 10 dice would be too much for them (little hands!), so we first played with 5 dice, then with 6. They LOVED it! Once they got the hang of it, they chose to play with all 10 dice. It was SO much fun! Easy to learn, virtually no set up or clean up.

This is such a fantastic game for a family with players of all ages. Young children play it, teen and friends play, parents and grandparent all play. Dice are fine, decent quality. The case is nice and keeps colors together and stored conveniently. Price is a little high (for just dice) but for something so fun for everyone it is justifiable. For our 6 year old playing against older siblings and parents we take out 1-2 dice to give her hands a more equal chance against the older players. Number of ways to play: first person to roll all their dice to match and yells Tenzie wins round/ first round everyone tries to be the first to role all 1's then move up 2,3,4,5,6/ etc. **One note: we purchased a pack of 4 so we could have more players play at a time (this Party Pack comes with 6 sets). The 4 pack comes in a long square tube and if I had it to do again I would have purchased another set of 6 to have the nice hard plastic case. Likewise if you are looking at a 4 pack to start out I'd jump to the 6 Party pack as the case to store them in is well worth spending a bit extra. (This is slightly an OCD thing as when you dump the tube out you have to sort out the colors regardless whether you tried to keep colors together when putting them away in the tube.)
