Works well with my 2016 honda pilot. The only hard part is installing the needed software into the head unit. Once you get pass that, everything is good.

It’s not plug and play. After I connected my phone, I still need to open the app and click ‘ok’ to the prompt window. The prompt window goes off so fast that you need to have your fingers ready or else you need to wait for one or two seconds for the window to appear again. Once carplay screen appear, everything works fine. It’s just kinda annoying that I need to do this everytime I need to use carplay.

This item came in today and I was very excited. I spend 3.5 hours trying to get it to work to no avail. Which is a shame. This device had a lot of good reviews and I noticed it was working in cars as far back as 2015(same year my car is). So I assumed it would work in my Subaru. However it would charge the better, but nothing would come on screen.They mention this “APK” app, so I guess that’s an android thing. Yet my vehicle is compatible to Android and it does not work. I will be requesting a refund unless someone from the company can explain to me the error. Cause the instructions were not even that “clear”.

Edit* turns out the source amperage was lower than 1amp which caused issues with CarPlay functionality and charging. I’ve since made some modifications to the car and can gladly report that this thing works like a charm.CarPlay functionality works great. Having an issue with not charging while using CarPlay but I’ll do some digging before I blame this product.

Product works great and exactly as described. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the app continues to show on a prompt asking if we'd like to use it with the dongle by default with the app on the head unit every time the car is started.

It’s working for 2016 Honda Pilot. Install Honda hack and auto kit before using this

Works well with Atoto A6 pro. Did not have to download any software. Plug and play since the Atoto A6 pro contained the required software to run Apple CarPlay

Easy install. It’s works perfectly in my 08 BMW E93 M3 with a Bremmen 7.1.1 Android Head Unit. It took me less than 5 minutes to set up.
