2000km later
I was sceptical in the beginning with the new boots being hard and new. They did not need too long to wear in. Maybe about 20km of walking. They look and feel great and I felt very sturdy in these shoes. I have ankle problems so this factor was important to me. Good value for money! The weight of these boots are in my opinion, heavy but really not felt on my walking and hiking!Stayed completely water proof until the very end. These boots are a great choice!

Solid boot, good for walking in winter/wet conditions
These are good, solid boots, with plenty of room in them for wearing multiple sock layers.I've been wearing them out in the very wet conditions that the UK has been living with, and they have kept my fight perfectly dry (although I did add some extra layers of Nikwax before first use). Paired with a good set of gaiters, and you should have toasty, dry feet. They are comfortable, but a bit heavier than the boots that I have been using over the past few years. That said, they are much more solid and sturdy, and offer much better grip, so it's a trade-off that I've been happy to make.I would, without hesitation, recommend these boots to any serious walker. They are true to size, so make sure that you order the correct size allowing for a couple of pairs of socks.Really pleased with them.

Good Boots
Bought these to replace my last pair. Read all the reviews and they were all accurate. Had them now for a couple of weeks, no blisters at all, so far fully waterproof but early days. Very comfortable, when first on they were a bit tight across my foot but the leather relaxed very quickly. The ankle support is good. I have used them on one coastal path walk, rugged terrain and wet conditions, no slipping and they felt very supportive. Hopefully I will get a few years out of these boots.

Good all rounder and good value
A good all round boot. Comfortable, waterproof and supportive. Leather seems to be good quality, doesn’t soak up too much water and dries out quickly.I found the fit to be generous, so added a 3mm volume reducer insole and still have space for thick walking socks. They aren’t the sort of snug foot hugging fit you get with a pair of Salamons or similar, more of a traditional fit.Only downsides so far are the low cut heel and the lack of rubber protection over the toes. You need to be a bit careful crossing stream otherwise it’s easy to get water into them. Walking in rocky terrain quickly scuffs up for toe box.I’d describe them as a decent year round hill walking boot, but less suitable for use in the mountains particularly if you’ve got stream crossing or wet ground to cross.

Comfortable Boots
I prefer not to order boots or shoes via internet in case they turn out to be too tight or for some other reason then you have the faff of sending them back and having to go through the whole process again. However, on this occasion I read plenty of reviews and satisfied myself that these particular boots would be just fine, and they had the added advantage of coming in half sizes which most don't. I normally take a 9 so ordered a nine and a half and they are perfect, so comfortable and they look really good and quality. I can't really comment on the durability yet as I only just got them.........come back to me in a years time ha ha!

I'd have expected a boot with such a high price tag to be more comfortable.
Good looking boots, and reassuringly rugged looking as well, I am sure they would be durable but unfortunately I'll never get to find out. They're nice enough looking that you'd probably be able to get away with wearing these in work at all but the most formal of workplaces, which is also a plus.Unfortunately I had to return mine though, as after wearing them just at my desk for just a few hours, my feet started to hurt so much that I decided that they weren't for me and had to return them.Someone with tougher feet may appreciate these more than I did!

Buena Calidad.

Berghaus Herren Hillmaster II Gore-Tex Wasserdicht Trekking-& Wanderstiefel - einfach gut

Good quality, but sizing big
The quality of the boots looked great, but they were big for me, even with winter shocks.
