Simply the best that exist today
EDIT 05/07/19: Sennheiser has officially released the new 1.26 firmware update yesterday. The update now includes a Turn Off button for the earbuds in the app (Settings) which fixes the battery draining issues!! I've tested it and it works perfectly. The update also contains bug fixes such as the transparent mode which now stays active when you get a call. 3 weeks later I still truly love with these buds.I've been using the buds for about a week now and I truly love them. These are my first true wireless earbuds and I've been studying what was on the market for months before making a decision because I wanted to be sure I invested in the right ones. And let me tell you, I certainly don't regret my purchase. The sound is INCREDIBLE and as a musician it makes all the difference. I could have gone for much cheaper earbuds but the sound would never have been the same. When you put them on for the first time you realise how bad your previous ones were compared to them. And I had the Sennheiser Momentum Free so not the the worse but the cable around the neck was annoying me and I wanted to go full wireless. The EQ is really good and can help you to achieve the perfect sound you like.I was aware of the battery draining issue and was a bit worried about it but I didn't think it was that bad. I'm using the buds from Monday to Friday on my commute to work (1 hour) and the battery lasts me for 3 days without charging the buds/case so I only need to charge it on Wednesday. You won't feel the battery draining issue if you use them daily. If you don't, I read that Sennheiser is going to implement a ON/OFF toggle in one of the next app releases and they have confirmed to me that although it's not confirmed yet, they are looking into it.They also have confirmed to me that if you turn the bluetooth OFF, the ear buds will automatically switch off after 15 minutes so it can already help. The transparent mode is amazing. It was the first time I've experienced that and I still can't believe how good and useful this function is. I basically never need to take the buds out until I don't need them for the day anymore. When someone is taking to me, I just double tap on the right earbud and it automatically pauses the music and activates the microphone. In fact, it picks the sound so well around you I can hear my keys jingle in my trousers pocket when I walk!I love the touch controls too, it takes a bit of time to get used to but no more than a couple of uses. It's pretty easy to remember and Sennheiser really have thought of the best way to implement them. You've got the option to turn the voice control off from the app which I did as I don't use it much and I no longer activate it by accident. The connection is really good although I've experienced a few drop outs. There is that spot at a train station where I wait for my train every evening where it's going to cut off a lot unless I move. I don't know whether it's caused by the crowds or other nearby devices but it's only at that particular spot which is weird. They will also cut off for about 1 second every time I walk past the security gates at local Sainsbury's. But it hasn't bothered me much and does happen very rarely. I think Sennheiser might fix that in the future as this product is still quite new on the market. The design of the buds is also something else that Sennheiser really have nailed. They are SO comfortable and I never had the impression they would fall out at anytime. They don't make you look like an insect from behind like the Bose SoundSport Free and the design has been thought and made to stay secure in your ear. You almost forget they are there and it's so amazing to be completely free of cables. I read that some people felt a discomfort after an hour use, I have too around the ear lobe at some occasions but in that case I just move them up slightly and it instantly feels better and I can carry on with my use without a problem.I'm so happy with them I literally can't wait to use them next. The price was also something that made me hesitate for a while and I initially thought of knocking 1 star down because of it but after using them properly for a week I just can't. The quality makes it totally worth it.

Sound quality is fantastic...but
I have a few decent quality wired and wireless headphones (Sennheiser Momentum 2s wired and wireless, Bose QuietComfort 35 II, B&O H6 and H7s) and these earbuds rank among them for excellent sound quality which is amazing for something so small. They fit perfectly in my ear and unusually the case allows for slightly larger than normal silicone tips to be fitted which isn't true of many other earbuds which have a more precise tailored fit. They both look and feel like quality items while the outer case textile finish is both distinctive and provides a practical and seemingly hard wearing non-slip grip.Offset against that are the few faults I'm experiencing:1. Battery drains in the earbuds and case in roughly 3 days from fully charged to empty even if not being used.2. Battery life of the earbuds started out at around 3 hours 30 minutes when new with the volume at 50% which although not brilliant is acceptable and something covered in most of the mainstream reviews so it wasn't a shock. However after just 6 weeks regular use the battery life is now hovering around 3 hours which looks ominous for long term use.3. Smart Pause doesn't turn off. Earphones have been reset a couple of time without it making a difference.4. Re-connection to a Bluetooth transmitter after initial setup fails regularly (roughly every 3 times) needing the pairing process to re-establish a connection. However this is not limited to these earphones alone as my Bose QC II require occasional re-pairing (about 1 in 20 times). Re-connection speed is fast and takes just a few seconds. Connection to smart phones is totally reliable though, never once losing connection or dropping signal. For all my above criticism and their limitations I am still happy with my Momentum True's although I may have to test our Sennheiser's warranty if the battery life continues to deteriorate as badly as they seem to have after just 6 weeks use. The apparent deteriorating battery life is the reason for 3 stars rather than 4.Reading back this review highlight some inconsistencies in my views and criticisms all offset for me by the superior sound quality.UPDATE: The constant drain of the earbuds while in the case is too annoying. I've seen more than once that despite them being in the case and not in use they activate and try and connect to devices with an active Bluetooth connection which can interfere with already connected devices. I am no longer happy with them.
