Ello Thrive BPA-Free Glass Water Bottle with Bamboo Lid, 20-Ounce

I truly love this water bottle. The glass is quite thick and sturdy (however I will say that this is my second water bottle of the same kind as the first one I had slipped out of my hands after I had just washed it and fell on its side to the kitchen floor and shattered to a million pieces).The first time that I opened it to wash it, the lid did have an unpleasant vinegar smell, that was easily removed with soap and water.It has such a lovely design on it and I am constantly receiving compliments on it. The bottle states that it is "dishwasher safe", but I will warn you that if you really are keen on keeping the design original, do not put it in the dishwasher, the design melted and moved. The flowers looked a little wilted post-wash. I have been hand-washing my new bottle. Also, the top is a hand-wash only due to the bamboo.

I've had this bottle for a few months and I am still happy with it. The wooden top has is well made and the inside is a nice rubber. The bottle itself is still holding up even after a few drops and rolls off the counter and desk, not a scratch or chip. I haven't had any issues with leaking, although I have never put it in the dishwasher.The only problem I have is with the design. I purchased the etch version hoping that it would mean the design was etched into the glass, but instead it is painted to look etched. The whole thing has not rubbed off yet, most of it is still on the bottle it's just that when the bottle gets wet it floats around so the design can either move or come off on your hand when you touch it.I'm overall pretty satisfied, I would buy it again because of the build quality and the wooden top.

Though I love the water bottle, the decal does not last long at all. After having the bottle for less than a month and only hand washing, the decal is already "rubbing" off quite drastically and more so every day. It will not be long until I am left with a clear over priced waterbottle. The waterbottle shape and design is nice enough and I like that it is glass with a bamboo top, however, most of the reason for puchasing this particular one was for the design that is now easily coming off just by using it.

I LOVE THIS WATER BOTTLE! Yes, the design will wear off and the bottle cap will need to be replaced after a year. However, it is a wonderful shape, works well with hot tea, and is easy to clean with a bottle scrubber. I have bought three now and I LOVE them. Be careful though, their glass and will break if dropped from about 3-4 feet.

I love this bottle, I just hate its lid. The glass container itself is brilliant, and exactly what I wanted. It is well done, and quite pretty. However the bamboo lid has a smell... a really strong, weird smell that leaves its scent behind on the glass. I have had a hard time using them (I bought 2) because of this. I've washed them several times, and can not get the lid to stop stinking.

Super cute. I got s ton of compliments on it for the 3 days I used it before breaking it.There is plastic in the lib which kept pulling downwards somehow and I had to push it in place. The plastic impacted the taste of the water.It's supposed to be dishwasher safe but some of the design started coming off after one dishwasher use.I slightly bumped it into a wall and it shattered. It was my fault, but at the same time it was not a hard impact so it was surprising that it broke so easily. Other glass water bottles I have had has been able to handle more. It's glass, but a glass water bottle should be thick enough to handle small mishaps.

Opening isn't as wide as I thought, but wide enough for ice cubes if they're not super-big. You need a bottle brush to clean. It's really nicely made, though. Nice-looking, big enough! (a lot of the glass ones are smaller size), totally sealed. You can even take the rubber out of the top so as not to damage the wooden lid too much with water.

Well made and so far it does not leak.The only issue I have had with this bottle is in the first few weeks there was an odor from the inside of the lid that smelled like glue or something toxic in nature. After several washings it seemed to dissipate.I purchased this bottle for several reasons, mainly because it is glass and does not leech any toxic chemicals into my water and because the description states it is leak proof. The only draw back to this bottle is that it is narrow and does not fit into most cup holders in vehicles. So, it tips back and forth. But, this is a minor issue as long as it doesn't leak.I think it is beautiful and functional and so far I love it.
