The right chair in the right space
My home office is a small desk in a right space, and this chair is perfect if you don't need a large chair. I'm an average sized man, but larger people may find this chair too small. But it's been great for me sitting at my desk for hours on end. Very comfortable and adjustable and excellent value for the money. Super easy to assemble and good quality.

Very pleased
Very pleased with the very clear assembly instructions. The process was very user-friendly and it didn’t take much time. It’s a very comfortable seat. No buyers remorse.

Great home office chair FOR THE PRICE POINT!!!
This office chair is a great product FOR THE PRICE POINT!!! If you're over 6 feet tall or 250 pounds or both this is NOT the chair for you. Also, if you're used to very expensive, professional, office furniture at your workplace, this is NOT the chair for you. I didn't want to spend over $100 for a reasonably comfortable home office chair and this product fit the bill perfectly.Several reviewers have remarked that the assembly process was not the easiest. I used the tools pictured in the attached photo and it was fairly straight forward with a clear & easy to follow instruction manual. Overall (to include unboxing), the entire process took me about 30 minutes. If I had only used the Allen wrench provided to assemble the chair, the process would been somewhat more challenging and time consuming.Additionally, some reviewers have commented that sitting in this chair for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time is uncomfortable. Well, I have a $1,000, ergonomic chair at work and that's also uncomfortable after sitting in it for 2 or 3 hours. So for frequent home office work less than 45 minutes at a time, this chair is great. For serious, full time, work-from-home 8 hours a day, you'll have to spend a lot more to be comfortable.FOLLOW UP: After about 10 months of almost daily use my original comments above remain the same. The chair is still in great shape and working well for less than an hour at a time. Wheels aren't the best even on a tiled surface, but if that's what I wanted, I would have spent a lot more money. Still very happy with this purchase.

It worked for two years, then the cheap plastic construction broke and it is useless
It was reasonably comfortable, but poorly designed. The bottom of the seat has plastic with no metal at all. And at the back, which has the most stress if you lean back, There is a pin going through the plastic that is almost half the width. So as you lean back it stresses a small but of cast plastic again and again. The plastic has no more strength than a 1x2 board. So any time you might stretch it can break. All looks and no real strength. For the price, I basically paid $4.50 a month to have a chair. Nothing you buy today can you see how it is made before you buy it. Am I upset because they did not put a few minutes extra thought and a dollars worth if steel into the design? This is how everything is made now, perhaps. "Oh, you want one that lasts? That cost extra" I hope in heaven things never break. My sights are very low now. Heaven is when things you buy actually work. It used to be a chair would last two or three decades or longer. This is a good chair, just do not lean back.

mid back task chair
affordable, super easy to put together using only a few bolts and clear instructions. rolls smoothly.i appreciate the marking of "front" lol i've made 3 chairs so far bought from amazon, and one of them i had to disassemble and redo because i wasn't sure which side was front and back or if it mattered, i completed the chair, sat and it tilted forwards.... they made this assembly fool proof for someone who didn't go through that to learn the hard way.it comes up to mid back as stated, thought it might come up a bit higher, being 5'4", and looking at the pic, but it comes to my mid back, as stated. at the price and quality i am satisfied.thought it didn't tilt, some reviews also says it doesn't tilt. but u have to pull out the lever to unlock the tilt, and lessen the tension using the big knob under the chair (also marked with which way to turn to tighten and loosen). try to loosen the big knob it if you can't tilt the chair.

It is good enough
This is the third time I've purchased one of these chairs. I've had every kind of office chair there is from cheap to ridiculously expensive and quite honestly, I don't really think any of them are worth the money paid. That being said, this is kind of the "goldilocks" of chairs. Not particularly high end, but not too basic, not too expensive but not too cheap. The last one I had only lasted about a year before the pad wore down and it was quite uncomfortable.. but I still kept it another year until I couldn't take it anymore. So I would say if you can find it on Amazon Warehouse for a little cheaper price, it will be worth it. While the pad is new, it's super comfortable and the faux leather didn't even wear out before it became uncomfortable, so I am pretty happy with it overall. When assembling, make sure not to tighten the screws at all - just set them in place until you get everything together. Then, go back and fully tighten everything. I learned this the hard way before and the screw holes won't line up if everything is tightened ahead of time. Otherwise, assembly is 15 mins max by myself (I despise putting things together, another reason for my delay in replacing the chair). I work remote 5 days / 40 hours, so this chair gets a lot of use. If you use it less than this, you may get more life out of it.
