Global 8 Way Professional LoftBox

Works great both as an Ariel distribution box, but also as a means to distribute video around the home.I recently experienced a failure of Freeview and found the issue to be the 15 year old distribution box in the loft. When seeking a replacement I needed to enable Ariel signal to 8 rooms plus I distribute the video out from two Sky boxes, so needed a return feed.I opted for the Global 8 way professional loft box and have to say I've really happy. My freeview signal has always been poor with a low cost Ariel in the loft, but the loft box, with the same Ariel, has improved the signal no-end, to the extent I am now able to watch the HD channels which I've never been able to do, so big tick there. Although the product is marked as an 8 way distributor, it actual shares the Ariel to 8 plus the living room, so 9. For the distributor to work you do have to send a return feed to a UHF2 input. I do this via the living room when I add an analogue TV signal from the RF2 Sky output. However, if you have no RF feed, it is possible to simply connect a cable between the 'living room' and 'UHF 2' sockets in the loft when you will still get the 8 outputs. The bonus for me is that there is also a CCTV input which is actually just another UHF analogue TV input. So I have connected the return feed from my second Sky box to this input and now have DTV signal to 8 rooms (with a spare) and analogue TV signals from 2 sky boxes. I wish I had change the distribution box years ago.

Bought this and it did the job perfectly - ran rf2 coax out from sky hd box near the loftbox that was in my loft , completed the essential digital TV and FM link by simply using running the sky coax and "living room" lead into a aerial connector/splitter and fed back into the loftbox, no new wallplate required - Bingo, six rooms in my house now have Sky multiroom with magic eye remote control. All mono , analogue signal but fine on any TV up to 32 inches in side. Perfect for bedroom tvs.

Brilliant. Wanted to distribute sky and aerial signal around the house. Had tried video senders but wifi interfered with those and we stopped using the kitchen TV. With this i just bought a reel of coax cable and lots of f connectors and mini aerial boxes and ran cables down the side of the house. Picture quality is compromised, dont expect HD but is sufficient.

I was looking for a way to pipe my Sk TV and other video sources around the house. This loft box does exactly that while also giving me control no matter what room I am in.
