Prescriber's Guide – Children and Adolescents

It’s a great book overall, but there are just a handful of important medications that I’d expect to be in it, but aren’t. Lots of good and helpful information though on the medications! I have the adult version as well.

This book is very comprehensive. I love the color coding and ease of use. I purchased the print and online versions and prefer the print. The online version doesn’t have the colored sections. There are three things I wish it had:1. Vitamins and other supplements section2. Cross taper section for SSRIs and Stimulants3. Tables or graphics with algorithms/first-line choices.

I am a new PMHNP-BC, I used this book daily working in the out patient setting.

By far the most helpful pediatric psycho pharmacology book.

Great book super easy to use I ordered two

I love Stahl's reference books, and have used his adult book in this series for many years. Unfortunately, I found this book surprisingly limited in scope. While the most major psychotropics are covered, I can probably name a dozen or two that I commonly prescribe to children that are not covered in this book. I am hoping that the next edition will be significantly expanded.
