striking alternative to real tile
My wife and I were looking for a way to update our ugly beige tile backsplash, and my wife likes the look of white subway tile. We tried both the this tile and the larger option from STICKGOO (https://www.amazon.com/STICKGOO-Backsplash-Kitchen-Bathroom-Thicker/dp/B07R5LGNMC/).Applying the tile to the backsplash was easy enough. Because they are strongly adhesive, it's important to carefully line them up, since pulling them off to move them is quite difficult--though we were able to do it.One thing to note about this item is the size of the "tiles" is smaller than we expected--they're a bit smaller than typical subway tile. (We should have known the dimensions from what the seller published but were not attentive enough. The grout color is a dark navy blue, and the tiles appear to me to be a very bright white. They really pop, in a good way, under our freshly painted white cabinets. We are deciding between these white-with-blue-grout smaller tiles and the larger, off-white-with-gray-grout option (https://www.amazon.com/STICKGOO-Backsplash-Kitchen-Bathroom-Thicker/dp/B07R5LGNMC/). It's really personal preference. We will probably go with the larger option because we prefer the size and the more understated look of the gray grout, but we do like the bright white on these tiles. The customer service is outstanding. I contacted the seller with questions and received responses very quickly.Five stars for a great, innovative, and great-looking produce, and five stars for great customer service.

Easy to use and looks great .
Done my kitchen backsplash with this item. It looks great. Now the real test is how will it hold up. Time will tell.

Nice, but sticky on outside.
Looks beautiful but sticky. Really hard to wipe clean. Cloth and lint sticks to it when I wipe it. I used everything to clean that the package said to use, but still sticky. I contacted the manufacturer for advice, but heard nothing back.

Love these!
I used these in our RV in the kitchen area and love how they look and perform. They were easy to put on once I got past my jitters and just went for it. LOL. Make sure to draw a plumb line to go by. I plumbed mine perpendicular to the RV door facing, and it worked well. The pieces fit together nicely and stay put. I even was able to piece together lots of little pieces to do more wall area than I had planned to do. I did get one of the pieces cut out wrong b/c I cut it upside down. However, I removed it and set it aside and was able to cut it again later to use as smaller sections. It adhered just fine and has stayed on (I don't even remember where I used it). I put these on over a year ago and we have had not issues with them. I love they way they wash so easily, too. I used a SHARP (new blade) razor knife and some scissors also. I made paper templates of weirdly shaped areas to get the fit right before I cut anything. I removed the window trim also and then put it back on after they were up. I also used a sharpie to mark on the wall underneath the tiles in a couple of places where there was a (tiny) bit of space where there shouldn't have been between tiles, LOL, and b/c the "grout" is dark, it is not detectable. I had already cleaned and painted the RV wall paper with regular interior house paint, so I did a bit of light sanding to rough up the surface, and they stuck fine and are still going strong. I would highly recommend. I love the look we got with them.

These lift at the seams in a short time
I never write a review right away. I want to see how the product lasts. I purchased these tiles in August and it's now December. First I'm a pretty good at DIY. If you look close at my kitchen even my counters are hand painted to look like marble. I learned how to cut and install peel and stick flooring years ago and I used that same knowledge to install these. You have one chance to get these right if you pull them off the wall they don't stick again. The "grout" lines go only in one direction so you can't cut one than turn it upside down to use the rest so you need to be creative on your cuts. If I didn't know what I was doing I would have had a ton of scrap left over. I had 2 tiles and scrap when I was done. You must really line them up as they grab the wall fast not allowing you to adjust the fit and you want to get them right up next to each other as tight as you can. I purchased 3 packages and loved the look so much I purchased 2 more to install over the cabinets as I like the way they have shine to them and make my battery operated candles look at night. Now here's where the problem lies. The seams on the majority of them are curling. Lifting away from the wall and that's a lot of money to have invested for vinyl tiles. I now have to find a glue that I can use to try and get them to lay flat again. They seem to be firmly stuck in the middle which will make peeling them back without damage difficult if I don't use heat to try and remove them. I would not trust them around water. There is no way water would not get behind the seams. My house temperature and moisture is at acceptable levels and kept comfortable year round. I'm really disgusted as the repair will take longer than the installation. All my friends loved it and wanted me to help them install them in their home but I will not be recommending this product. I wish now I just took the time to install real tile.

Stick on surfaces that are somewhat rough
Bought these tiles to use in a shower enclosure . Previous tenants had put up tile that fell off and there was lots of glue that I could not remove. I cleaned the surface as best I could, but it definitely was not flat. Tiles were easy to install and they stick like crazy, even on that rough surface. Very happy with my purchase!

Hard to work with.
Have used these before with great results. This batch I bought, a 10 and 5 piece set, were quite different. It was almost impossible to remove the protective paper to reveal the sticky side on every piece. Starting the separation and then removing the backer was the hardest, longest and worst part of the job. I suspect that they had been stored in a very hot warehouse for a long time, cross linking the glue to the protective sheet. Will use a different brand next time. On plus side, it looked good when done but took at least 3x longer.
