Fun book, don't expect too much lore detail, but it is well detailed and designed.
As someone, who enjoyed only Rogue One and the Mandalorian from the Star Wars franchise in recent years, I'm very satisfied by this book.It is a fun book, explained through Lukes' point of view. There are references to lesser known jedis and siths (such as inquisitors and jedis such as Plo Koon), which makes me appreciate the book more. However, if you are already familiar with extended universe of Star Wars, you won't find much material that might enrich your lore knowledge, as most of the subjects are briefly explained. The book is well designed, it feels almost like a pop-up at times, which is a nice touch. (I provided photos of the same pages as an example, so you might see the pop-up like pockets the book has, there are many more, but I didn't want to spoil it) It is a worth the money, I've bought this as a christmas gift, so I'm yet to receive my relatives feedback on it. Hope this helps!

Good start Needs an update
If we never had Filioni and Favreau expanding the series via the Clone Wars, the Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett series, I would say that this book would cover it. Now that we do have the mentioned gentleman of vision, I think the Secrets of the Jedi book could either be expanded or a whole new more in-depth version could be written. This is not saying the book is not worthy. It is a good piece to put in the collection and to read, especially if you are a fan of the new trilogy. Now, while I am a die hard EU fan, I have long since accepted what is. If anything the Disney Series coming out have made me love Star Wars again and I think their is hope at the end of the day.

Very good
This is a book, much like the Han Solo coffee table book released earlier (without behind the scenes shots from the movies) devoted to the Jedi. It is essentially a journal written by Luke Skywalker laying out the history of the Jedi and the Sith, and giving character profiles on the "main" individuals of each. It is a very quick read, easy to do in less than an hour even if you are a fairly slow reader. It ends likely just before he "force teleports" to Crait during the Last Jedi, and details his change of heart about the "death" of the Jedi order.

Dude, it's Star Wars, get it!
Great little jaunt into the force through Luke's eyes. Full of fun lore.
