My wife is Spanish and I've been to Spain several times, so I know what good Iberian jamon is. We heard Costco had jamon Iberico about a month before Thanksgiving but those sold out in a day. We started looking online and found this shoulder on Amazon. There weren't many reviews so my wife checked this company out in Spain, all reviews were top notch so that was all we needed to hear. I have to say we were very pleased with this ham.It may seem pricey if you haven't had it before, but if you have, then you know it's not a bad deal for U.S. prices. If we were in Spain, it would be much less expensive! I hope it becomes more readily available in the U.S. soon.This is very good jamon Iberico and we received the order quickly. I'm glad it came with the stand, we already had a nice carving knife but that was also an included bonus. We would recommend this to anyone who likes high grade acorn fed jamon Iberico, it is very high quality and worth the price to us. The flavor of fresh carved jamon like this is the best in the world. We will likely order it again!

What I dislike about this product is that is way too much money and very little meat I have purchased it in the past and it hasn't been like this also I don't know why they sent only the front leg, from the middle of the leg to the top part there is only bone not even a few meat that we could eat.

WOW This is the best iberico bellota ham I've had in years. I just can't believe I'm having it here at home in the USA! With my prime, I received my jamon iberico in 2 days after I placed order and have been extremely satisfied with the shipping process, the presentation, and, the jamon. It comes impeccably wrapped (vacuum sealed and with a net) making for an impressive gift. As one who's very picky about jamon, I can comfortably say that this jamon is outstanding. Upon the first bite, you can immediately tell that it's a high quality bellota ham.The slicing is smooth and (with a little practice!) produces gorgeous layers hard to find outside of Spain.The ham is perfectly cured with a soft texture and the perfect marbling to give it an unmistakable, full flavor that only an "iberico bellota” can produce.The wooden stand and carving knife are great additions to the set, although I suspect if you're going to be a repeat buyer, you'll probably want to upgrade those to something a bit more upscale. All in all, super happy with my purchase. Will definitely be back for more!

I bought this (it was more expensive than others) hoping it would be better but the price isn’t linked to quality - it’s inferior taste notwithstanding the deep fat and wax it’s dry and tasteless I could not return it or communicate with the seller I would very disappointed total rip off starting to question stoping using Amazon!This was THEFT you can’t return nor can you contact seller and as I used an Amazon credit card I can’t even initiate a dispute! Dumping the credit card asap - honestly these sellers are garbage and they know it ! AVOID

Hi, I am from Spain and grew up with an Iberico Ham at home all the time. Great memories of seem my father cutting slices, he probably ate one slice per slice going into the serving plate. I do the same now!This Iberico Shoulder is a great value. I found the flavor above average and the fat to meat ratio to be good. I will buy it again.I question the validity of some of the negative reviews. People should have well defined expectations of what this product is. A shoulder has definitely less meat than a ham, and Iberico hams fed acorns, are well known for high fat content. I love the fat and that is why I buy Iberico versus Serrano. You should probably buy a different product (boneless Serrano) if the fat content is a turn off.In addition, I would suggest that buyers watch a couple videos online of how to cut bone in hams from Spain. I can tell by some of the pictures posted in reviews that people have not paid attention on how to cut this shoulder. Cutting it properly is key.Thanks

The best in value! To those who are claiming that this is "not" a Belotta100% Ibérica, are obviously ignorant aboutSpanish ham. This ham is authentic. The fact that the "black label" is attached to it is the enough proof! I have tried hams from many countries and the Ibèrico is the best. It is unparalled. I've traveled to Spain several times and I know what I am talking about. If you learned how to cut it properly , you'd really appreciate it. Of course there is a lot of fat, because this is front leg or the shoulder, but for me it is even tastier than the rear leg. You really have to spend money to savor the best ham in the world and that is given! I will buy again from this vendor!PS: the origin of this product is Los Pedroches, in Córdoba, Andalusia, one of the only 4 regions whose designations are legally protected.
