Sturdy and works incredibly well
Used for a parasol umbrella at the beach. Used it on fine shingle and several sandy beaches. It’s incredibly robust, is easy to screw and unscrew with the flip down handles and easily held a normal parasol up in moderate breezes. The little hook thing is also handy but as I think others have mentioned, it is slightly restricted by how far up the parasol pole you can put it (due to the pole becoming wider where it joins).Looked much sturdier than the ones for sale at the beach and cost a lot less than they we’re asking for one.(it’s only wonky in the photo because we screwed it in wonky)

Get your parasol up
Clever little device great on sand but a little harder to use on grass.Once screwed into the sand it will hold your parasol well. One small issue it comes with a size adapter insert which broke on first use but still useable.

No complaints
Decent and does the job. Very easy to use, feels really solid once its in the ground and weighs barely anything.

Needs additional work
I bought this for the beach but haven’t tried it yet. It’s strong plastic so should do the job but as others have pointed out it’s expensive for what it is. I bought a Sekey umbrella to fit into it but the newer umbrella now comes with a small plastic screw at the bottom. I had to saw this off (easy) to get it into the larger blue sand screw. During this the plastic inner cap which is brittle snapped, however it is still useable. All in all it will anchor the parasol but be careful if your parasol already comes with a smaller sand screw.

Its vey good but delivery was slow - DPD not the seller - who sorted it
Its very good but delivery was slow - DPD not the seller - who sorted it. Sat for weeks with DPD who took their time getting it out the depot and a short journey down the road! Its a generally robust product that clamps to the size of the parasol pole as you screw the top down. Not sure why the handles for turning are not so well designed but I am happy with it

Must have for the beach
This has been a life saver in the beach. I always struggled to put the umbrella into the sand securely, and often ended up taking it down. This goes in with ease and is very secure even against a sea breeze.
