Lots of fun!! Must buy
Easy cleaning. Easy to use. Cake mix works very nicely. I like it better than cupcakes. The donuts are a nice size. People eat about three. If you eat whole set it will fill you up. Great value makes cute donuts they are warm and fresh so tastes great. Would buy again.

Fun kitchen Friend
Used my mini donut maker for the first time today. I used one of the recipes in the booklet that came with the unit. My new fun kitchen friend. Hubby was delighted to see what I was up to. It was easy to clean and use. Worked as I had hoped with no sticking of doe or mess. I frosted half with chocolate frosting the other half I dipped in melted butter and then in cinnamon sugar. Yummy. I’m going to freeze them in small batches. I highly recommend the mini donut maker.

Ideal to enjoy at home or surprise the family with a quick snack!
It's a marvel for any dessert lover. It's compact, easy to use, and makes perfect donuts in minutes. Its adorable design takes up very little space, making it ideal for small kitchens. The best part is that you don't need to fry them, which makes the donuts healthier without losing flavor. The nonstick surface prevents sticking and makes cleanup easier. Plus, it heats up quickly, and the donuts turn out golden and fluffy. Here are the exact quantities I used to prepare the dough:1 cup all-purpose flour1/3 cup sugar1 teaspoon baking powder1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 cup milk1 egg2 tablespoons melted butter (or vegetable oil)1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Makes cake like doughnuts!
This is a pretty decent donut maker! They make almost old-fashioned cake donuts and you can either make a glaze or a powdered sugar topping. It’s pretty simple to use an easy to clean, I would recommend it if you like cake donuts. But if you think you’re getting regular donuts, don’t purchase this. Ha ha ha

Easy to use!
I made donuts for the first time and my husband & I thought they were really good! There is not much to the setup of the donut maker as you pretty much just need to plug it in, but read the instructions first. The light isn't too bright when you plug it in, so I had to cup my hand over the side of it to make sure it was really on. The classic donut recipe in the book provided is what I followed and it'll take some getting used to. This is such a great way to have a sweet treat when we are craving something like donuts, or if we have unexpected/expected visitors over.

Works great!!
This is amazing!! Works great so far. We use a bamboo skewer to flip donuts. We also tried a brownie mix and that worked good too. Little brownie donuts. So far very good. Liking it.

Easy and fun
This was our first time using the mini donut maker since I purchased it several months ago. My son had been asking for donuts and I kept forgetting. I love traditional frosted and glazed donuts, not a fan really of cake donuts. I wanted to try a yeast recipe but I haven't yet. I used a box of Duncan Hines Moist Yellow Cake mix and prepared it according to the box instructions. I used chocolate frosting for some and made a glaze with powdered sugar, a little vanilla extract, salt and milk for the others. I dipped about half the glazed donuts in sprinkles. The don't maker gets very hot pretty quickly. I didn't spray the inside with oil though the instructions recommend you do, they still came out rather easily. I used a mini spatula. These require a lie of hands on attention. I piped the donuts in the maker using a piping bag. Let them bake up to 1.5 minutes and then flipped them, I think 1 minute to 1 minute 15 sec was best. Then let them bake another minute. Then gently slip the mini spatula in there top scoop them out. They didn't stick at all. Then I allowed them to cool a few minutes and topped them to suit kids tastes. It was fun and using the cake mix turned out much better than I expected. It wasn't too much like a cupcake and wasn't as dense as a cake donut, they actually seemed like bakery donuts almost. I had no trouble cleaning. After it cooled down I just wiped it off with a damp cloth. I think the design is pretty cute. I have a cart that I stock all my novelty kitchen appliances in. It doesn't take up a lot of space but it isn't something I would use regularly. Just for fun. These would be fun to bring in for coworkers to enjoy, my kids had fun sharing them with their friends.

Instructions say to flip donuts
Yes, it does make donuts (doughnuts), and they are mini. In the pictures it will give you the exact dimensions of the donuts, which is about 2.25 inches in diameter. If you don't flip the donuts the top will be half cooked looking. But why doesn't the top heat the same as the bottom? I don't have to take my waffles out the waffle maker and flip them halfway. I don't have to flip my panini.I don't recommend this because, I don't want to buy a donut maker just to flip the donuts halfway in because the top does not heat evenly with the bottom. Obviously they know the bottom is way hotter than the top, fix it so I don't have to flip.
