Worth the money!
This geode cracking kit was a fantastic hands-on activity for my kids—and honestly, I enjoyed it just as much! The kit came with several real geodes, safety goggles, and clear instructions. Cracking them open was safe and exciting, and each one revealed a unique and beautiful crystal formation inside.It's both educational and fun—perfect for sparking interest in geology and science. We learned about how geodes form and had some great conversations while exploring each one. Highly recommend for curious kids (and adults!) who love discovery and a bit of a surprise.

It was a fun learning experience.
Me and 5 grand children cracked these geodes open. The age range was 12 to 4. We talked about safety rules and read up on how geodes are made. They each got to choose a piece of the rock with exposed crystals. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. I wish I had pictures.

Fun Activity
Exactly what is advertised! We used them for Boy Scouts to help reach some goals! The boys loved them and it was a fun activity to do.

I would buy another!
Great buy for Christmas! My son loves science and this was a great kit. The materials were all there to use with ease and he learned from this. I would plan to use this outside because you do have to use some force to break them open. There was a small mess, like bits of rock and dust afterwards but nothing a wet paper towel can’t clean up.

Best activity!
This is a great activity for children or adults! I got this for my friend for Christmas and we had a blast breaking into these rocks, researching them and then putting them on display.

Big hit with our grandson
Purchased this as a gift for our grandson. He loved breaking them with his DadLife is about making memories and he was pretty excited

Difficult to open and no variety
Extremely difficult to open up and there was no variety. Was hoping to see different colors like what’s shown in the pictures but got all white ones. A bit disappointed
