Fast and small solution for your UHS-II SD cards!
I needed a compact solution to read a great amount of data from a UHS-II SD card. This reader did the trick.

Works Great With PNY EliteX-Pro60
These adapters are a great bang for the buck. At $10, buy two. We did buy 2 and one of them is slightly defective as it only transfers at 90mb /sec. If you have a high speed SD card, but you're only getting 90mb / sec, your Kingston reader might be damaged like ours. But the other reader really rips at about 260mb /sec from our PNY EliteX-Pro60 256GB cards full of 4K videos. These PNY cards say they are rated at 280mb /sec read, but 260mb /sec sustained for 10-15 minutes of transfers is pretty good for me. Make sure you are plugging into the red or blue ports on your motherboard, as many many motherboards still come with black USB 2.0 ports that aren't ultra high speed for data transfers. I'm buying more of these right now to have at every editing PC so I don't have to keep looking for a high speed reader ever again.

Works well
This card reader is small and compact. It was recognized right away by my computer. I have an HP desktop which has piss poor built-in SD card reader with severely limited read speed. My workflow is to transfer RAW images from my camera to the computer. Attached are the built-in SD card reader vs Kingston on a UHS-I class 3 sd card. 2.5x improvement on sequential read speed which is what is important to me. Price is right, performance is good.

Built well just needs the click in click out feature added.
SD cards are a little stiff to get in & out but otherwise works as expected. Packaging was perfect.

Transfer speeds as advertised
I'm a professional photographer and I shoot a lot of raw photos and occasionally video on my 2-yr old UHS-II SD cards. My PC has a built-in card reader and I also own an external USB 2.0 card reader. The difference between this Kingston card reader and the ones I already own (UHS-I) is night and day.To test the speeds, I transferred 18 GB worth of video clips using all 3 readers. Long story short, this Kingston UHS-II reader is 5.6 times faster and 12.4 times faster than my internal and external readers respectively. If you want the specifics, it took 76 seconds at 235 MB/s. Before, it would've taken me almost 18 minutes at 42 MB/s.I will be purchasing a second unit so I can transfer 2 cards simultaneously and reclaim hours of my life. My PC only supports USB 3.0 so I assume this reader can read even faster on a USB 3.2 port on newer computers. And of course, you need UHS-II cards to take full advantage of this reader. It is a highly recommended upgrade if your old computer doesn't have a built-in UHS-II reader and you own UHS-II cards. The price is also very reasonable from a reputable brand.

Love it
This card reader is wonderful. I love the small size making it super easy to travel with. It’s the brand I’ve used for years now for my card readers as a professional photographer. Recommended!
