Product Review: Yuxin Little Magic 3x3 M stickerless Speed Cube Little Magic 3x3x3 M Cube by CuberspeedThis is a factory magnetized version of one of the most popular and successful budget cubes. The Yuxin LM has been on a short list of best budget cubes to get, since its introduction going now about 2 years on market, and the factory magnetization is a welcome addition. It feels like the original YXLM and the internals appear to be the same, with the addition of the magnets. I've magnetized a number of LM's in the past and the magnets used in this version are medium strength, quite okay.The reasons why YXLM has been so popular are obvious for anyone who has handled a properly setup YXLM. It takes lube very well (just don't over lube) and sets up nicely, has a light quick feel, a hair smaller than the standard 56 mm dimensions (at 55.5 mm), corner cuts very well, and thus one can achieve really nice solve times.There are new, modern additions to the crowded budget category, and everyone has been trending towards magnetizing these budget entry cubes. Other notable competitors include the MoYu MFJS RS3 2020 and the MFJS Meilong M 2020, both are just simply spectacular for a cube, entry level or otherwise, and they do tend to blur the lines as to what it even means to be a budget cube vs flagship.Compared to the MoYu modern cubes mentioned above, the biggest difference is that the internal configuration of these modern cubes allow for very smooth quiet turns compared to the slightly clacky feel of the YXLM. They also do take lube even better and are default even quicker on turns out of the box. Still, it does hold nicely against the competition and you can never go wrong using the Little Magic, even after a couple of years.If I had to chose, I would lean toward the Meilong M 2020 as it is just simply stellar. These budget cubes including this Little Magic M can be tossed around and carried around to be practiced on, and that's the main appeal for me, when I would rather keep my pricey flagship cubes at home.

My son loves this. It's SO much smoother to operate than his Rubik's-brand cube. It kind of "snaps" into place. No stickers; the plastic is actually colored. Great cube for kids or adults who like to challenge themselves to solve faster and faster!

My 6yo son asked for a Rubik's cube for Xmas but got the next best thing instead, this one! It works just as well as the trusty old Rubik's but definitely has a smaller footprint. He doesn't know the difference though and was able to quickly mess up the colors before asking me to put it back correctly. I don't think he's touched it since then, but every child is different.

This magic cube is in a smaller size, and works well for kids. It is cute and has been working well so far.
