Easy to install
It works great and it was so easy to install

Worked great, after some frustrating troubleshooting
In case anyone is trying to use this connector on a server, I had to turn my monitor off and back on anytime the server reached a certain point in the bootup process in order for this connector to work properly. At that same point every time the input stream would stop and turning the monitor off/on would fix it. After doing this, it continued to work just fine until another reboot. It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure this out, so hopefully others can avoid my mistake. Equipment was a Dell R730 server to an ASUS 2k monitor.TLDR: If not working from a server, try turning your monitor off and back on again.

Adapter does not operate in reverse.
This adapter gives an older computer with only a VGA monitor connector, the ability to accept a HDMI cable from a HDMI monitor. It does not adapt an older style VGA monitor to a newer computer with a HDMI connector.

Don't buy, USB can't plug in
Don't buy!! The USB plug doesn't fit in the appropriate slot. I even requested a replacement, thinking I got a flawed unit. Nope. Not only did they send me one that had clearly already been opened and used, same thing. I tried with other USB cords I have for various speakers that still use it just fine, and nope, the slot is the wrong shape. Specifically, it doesn't fit the two notches on the USB. And yes, I'm putting it in in the correct orientation

Nice little VGA to HDMI converter!
Worked as advertised. Allowed. me to easily connect my computer with a VGA display port and sound out jack to my TV's HDMI input port without any issues. Picture displayed and sound quality come across perfectly on the TV. Easÿ to use, simply plug in play. Comes with USB Power and Sound jack cords.
