Managed to try this, on advice from a relative before winter set in, I must say it appeared to boost my garden plants. I'm eager to try it again this year, hopefully I'll have a much better floral display

Very easy for too use, I have back and front gardens and this gadget does the job in half the time that it takes with a watering can. Would recommend the seller as their price is good.

got this to get my garden some nutrients simple to use and once its away just aim it to what you want feeding when youve done just turn off remove from the hose and its ready for the next feed even if you havnt used all the food

The idea is that you fill the 500ml container with a pack of soluble plant food granules, add water to dissolve them. Screw the filled container back onto the feeder gun. Attach the gun to your hosepipe using the connectors, select 'feed and water' from the selector on the top of the gun, and the type of spray required.(jet, flat or shower) from the dial on the front of the gun. Turn on the hose. Press the trigger on the gun. Water is forced down into the container of plant food, and flushed out, very diluted, onto the plants, the soil round your plants, or onto the compost in your containers.Miracle Gro colour their granules, so theoretically, once the water in the reservoir has faded from blue to clear, you've used up the available feed.What usually happens is that if you haven't used the lock mechanism to keep the flow constant, if you take your finger off the trigger, the back pressure from the hose builds up, the cheapo connectors burst asunder, and it's you that gets the soaking.The plants don't get much feed because the water forced into the container to flush out the feed doesn't work very well, unless you've got quite a whack of water pressure. This will cause the cheapo connectors to burst asunder. Rinse and repeat. Or, you're racking up a huge water bill because that pale blue water just doesn't seem to be getting paler and you've been stood there twenty minutes.I've found this gadget works better if you hold the thing upside down while watering, and give it a little shake every now and again to flush out the trapped granules which, if you've held it right way up, will have formed an undissolved gunk in the bottom of the container.But you'll never, ever know if you've given your plants a decent feed, or you've given nothing to some, and too much to others.So you'll still be getting out the measuring scoop and the watering can, because you absolutely know some plants got zilch.Just don't take your finger off that trigger.......

Just received my miracle grow feeder and am very pleased with it. Having read the reviews I wasn’t sure it would be any different to one I had a few years ago but I’m pleased to say it is much better. The actual unit is very well made and unlike other reviewers I did have the free pack of food with it. They are so easy to use and my plants are very appreciative! Great value for money. Thank you !

The feeder is well made and packaged. It is easy to assemble and use and the miracle grow treatment comes in pre packed 500g packages which mean you use one full package per application. The 3 spray settings proved useful for different levels and types of application. One comment, it took a little time for me to realise that the Miracle-Grow feed doesn't empty, the solution in the canister dilutes with use so that it gradually turns lighter in colour with usage (The instructions don't tell you this!) You have to watch the colour of the solution changing to determine when to refill the canister. Once you have worked this out the unit is straightforward to use. A great addition to anyone's garden equipment.
