This thing is amazing!!! Super comfortable, and the Velcro was super strong! I have no idea why another reviewer said the Velcro was weak. I tried it with various degrees of tightness and it held no matter what I did.Definitely recommend!

These are perfect for the 100% cotton masks we bought, which shrunk after the first wash and became way too tight for my male face. With the Velcro extender strips, I can continue using the cotton masks and have no pressure on my ears from the mask's own ear straps. These things are a Godsend.

The poor marketing on these never ceases to amaze me after all this time. I'm sure they could be used as a mask extender but so many of these masks we have to wear are so poorly made the other advantages of these straps should be highlighted. I use them to not only be able to put the ear loops below my ears (phew) but then to tighten the mask so it doesn't slip down off my face or, even worse, rise up into my eyes. The occasional restaurant worker wearing their mask below their nose is just so last year.... Please try to sell these straps to people who don't know how to wear a mask. Unfortunately I have to wear one for long hours at work and the few times over the last year and a half that I have forgotten this strap I was miserable. You have to wrap one end of the velcro around one ear loop and secure it then put your mask on and slide the other end of the velcro through the other ear loop and pull it tight. I can't use the word comfortable for a mask but this absolutely makes it tolerable for long hours. The reason it lost a star? They are way too long and should have shortened sizes!

Very lite and easy to use. Saves my ears which face mask straps irritate so badly.

My wife works in healthcare, she says they a great job and keeps her ears from getting raw and sore, and they are comfortable.

Tried using it for the blue face masks, but after I installed the item, it was extremely difficult to use! I wish that I would have returned them immediately! Like I've always known, "You get what you pay for." Pitty.

Love wearing a mask and doing my bit not to spread germs (unlike all the mouth breathes out there…). But not a fan of the irritation the mask causes on the backs of my ears. I’ve usually got a mask that ties behind my head anyway but wanted to wear KN95s on a long haul flight. This solved all the problems allowing me to pull the mask in to a comfortable position around my head.
