I never write reviews, this is one of my first. I have to say that I loved the way the collar stay worked (unfortunately for only 6 months). I received the item in the end of April and used it almost daily with work attire. I’m disappointed to say that now in mid October it has broken. I was reluctant to buy it in the first place due to the relatively high price in my opinion for what it truly is, a piece of felt coated metal wire, but decided to give it a try anyway. The design is great, and it worked great, just didn’t get much life out of it😔. Had it lasted longer I would have easily rated 5 stars. In my opinion it should be made of a higher quality metal that can withstand little bending over time. Especially for the price. Im still questioning wether or not it’s worth replacing.11/12/19I am writing this as a follow up on my last review of the collar stay. I DID end up purchasing another collar stay after some mental deliberation (as it did work and kept my collar and I looking great!). I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that the inventor/owner of the company saw my review and express shipped my new one which was received within a few days of ordering! Thank you for that! I can honestly say that I REALLY hope this one lasts longer. I enjoyed my first one and was disappointed when it broke mostly because I didn’t want to go even a day at work without it after knowing how good my collar looked with it on. It really does work, it is comfortable to wear, and really does keep your collar looking top notch. Thank you again very much to the company owner/inventor for taking the time to read my review and speed up the delivery time on my replacement. I am changing my 3 star review to 5 stars for the hope of longer life of the new one!

This is absolutely a game changer. I had graduated from the plastic collar stays to the metal ones. I had even seen friends utilizing the magnetic collar stays (except at certain angles you could see the magnet). I received my collar-shaper about two weeks ago and the very first day that I put it on, I received a multitude of compliments throughout the day about how professional and crisp my shirt looked. I can't say enough about how satisfied I am with this product.

I use this every day and it keeps my shirt collars up as designed. I love the way it remains undetectable. My only issue was that it woul move around in my collar and need adjusting to keep it balanced. My solution was to wrap a little double-back tape around the center of it so it would stay put. I really like this addition to my wardrobe and recommend it.

I was really excited to use this collar stay. While I really like the design & idea, I feel like the measurement instructions & length of the collar stay should collaborate better. I measured my collar base as instructed, I even had one of those soft fabric measuring tapes just as shown in the instructions. 4 of my favorite polo shirts all measured 18". BUT, the collar stay does not rest at this base where instructed to measure. It is up around mid collar, at the folding point, where the measurement is slightly less. Thus the ends of the collar stay are either directly at the point where you can see it, or sticking out slightly. My collar stay measured 17.25", which is almost exactly the measurement where it sits on the shirt collar. So theres no way to not see it. I tried pushing the end back but this causes the back of the stay to push the back-bottom of the collar out, making the shirt collar to not sit flush as it should, or worse, poke out from inside the collar in the back. I tried wearing it out while running errands to "practice" how it would work/fit. It kept moving, exposing one side of the ends to stick out more. I tried adjusting the stay to be taller thinking pressure might hold it in place, but that only caused the lower adjustable leg to push out and show at the side of the collar. I feel like of the stay were an inch or so shorter overall, I may have had a better experience. This would allow for movement without exposing the ends, even if it slid or moved off center. I'm returning this 18" stay & may order a 17" stay to see how that works out. For now it's 3 stars for a pretty good idea. If I do purchase a smaller size & have better success with the shorter stay, I will report back to post my new experience and possibly change my rating. I do feel the measurement instructions should be different though. Maybe the instructions for a polo shirt & a dress shirt vary and need changed. I did not test it with a dress (button down) shirt. I would have to recommend ordering at least a .5" to 1" shorter stay to keep it hidden from movement and exposing the ends.

Use it all the time, perfect upright collars every time, with or without a tie or collar stays. The company reached out to confirm the size before shipping which I appreciated. Very easy to use and not noticeably tight or loose. Never have a problem wearing it for hours.
