The pump works very well for deep well applications. Heavy duty and nicely built. Just make sure you have a 1 1/2 reducer for your1 1/4 NPT and a check valve because the internal check valve doesnt work. Im still giving it 5 stars because of the quality of the pump and its ability to pump strong from a deep well. I have spent 5 times as much on well pumps that did not work as well as this pump so Im definitely pleased and will purchase a second one for my other water well.

Super easy to install at a reasonable price
Hope this is going to be back in stock soon as my husband wanted me to order another one to keep on hand as a spare. Seems like pumps always go out on the weekend so it's hard to get a replacement quickly. We have two pumps, one bringing the water out of the ground and the other bringing it out of the sand filter. Our water is very hard and is rough on pumps. He really liked this one as it was so easy to install thanks to the extra long cord. I can't rate the longevity of this pump as he just installed it this week when the loaner we had been given in April went out. I will review it again in the future for that.

Arrived broken in half.
Opened the box to install it and it was broken in half. The metal guard was bent, the heavy plastic holding it together was broken across the middle. Another week without water. I'm angry. However, the seller promptly refunded, which was exactly right and I appreciate it, so I am giving three stars for that. Thank you!

Finally
After buying 3 pumps, the last one finally worked after 4 years of trying to get water going into my house. Hopefully i won't need to buy another one, but if i do, i will be choosing this one.
