Cool
Works great. I had no problem installing it. No problem connecting to the wifi. Smartlife app directly detected it.Works awesome with alexa.Would recommend and buy again.

Very frustrating. Couldn't get it into pairing mode
Installation was easy. The remote works well. I disabled 5gh but could not get the controller in paring mode. I tried the power on off 3 times...doesn't work. I reset the fan from the remote, didn't help. I cut power to the room from the breaker and tried again, no success. I'm at a loss. :(

Easy install but app connectivity a bit tough
Install directions were good for my older fan. After install I could only use the remote and was never able to get it into pairing mode to add to Smart life. Then I found the info in my picture and BAM .. It connected so easily in smart life. Now I have it working on my Alexa and much happier

Only last 2 months
Really like the idea of this, install and easy install, sadly only lasts 2 months with minimal use. Worked yesterday and not today.

Stopped working after a few months
Worked great until it didn’t. Only lasted about 4 months. Very disappointing as I came to rely on the smart functionality.

Surprisingly easy to setup.
I was hesitant about this installation as other devices such as lights have had reliability issues but lights are generally easy to remove and replace whereas this requires rewiring the fan. I installed the first fan controller this morning and was surprised how easy it was to program. There was of course a learning curve for such things as how to name the fan (I plan to add this to 5 fans in different rooms) Also I didn’t realize that the light and fan must each be named uniquely.

Works with Alexa just fine!
I bought this one to replace a defective controller. It works very well, the wires are nice and long, and it hooked up to Alexa with a quickness.

Really cool! App setup can be difficult though.
I would have given a five-star rating if it went for the fact that for some reason I, like others had a really difficult time connecting to the app and Wi-Fi? I found others online that had similar issues and figured out that by resetting the device simply by turning the light switch on and off 5 times, somehow reset it and then I was able to find the fan on the App and it would start working. This did take several attempts before somehow it magically began working LOL.
