Excellent value
I’ve fitted these but not yet used them, when looking at prices for sights the prices can be a bit overwhelming when you are new to something so for how cheap these were you cannot go wrong

Unusable
Unusable, one of the two primary screws used to attach the sight to the riser had no thread at all leaving the sight hanging loose in no condition to be used. You can see in the photo attached that the thread is none existent..

A new idea on an ancient style Bow
A little fidgety fitting very basic set of sights to a Traditional Bow for which they were not intended but they have helped me to improve my accuracy and consistency and frequency in chasing the elusive yellow bull

Nice, basic sight at a good price.
This bow sight is suitable for beginners and intermediate shooters. It's designed to be used with take-down recurve bows and is not intended for longbows or horsebows, which are always shot 'barebow'.The sight is made from a hard and slightly flexible plastic, probably ABS, so it's great for shooters who need robust gear. I'm mainly thinking younger shooters, but it's also good for field shooters who need to walk about through trees. If you are an experienced barebow shooter who wants to start using a sight, this is an affordable way to try one out. This sight can be used by either left or right-handed shooters. This important to me as I'm a lefty. However, like many sights of this type, the numbered scale has to be fitted upside-down on a left-handed bow. This doesn't really matter as the scale is entirely arbitrary - I just make a note that the '4' marking is 70m, or whatever. Still, it would be nice if manufacturers could make truly ambidextrous sights. The mounting attachment fits the standard threaded bosses on most metal risers. Many wooden risers also come with threaded bosses, but check yours first. If yours doesn't have them, they can be fitted but it's really a job best left to an expert. once fitted to the riser, the mount can be left on permanently, as the sight arm has a quick-release screw. The arm is longer than most starter sights, at 15cm. This is an ideal size for beginners, as a longer arm just magnifies any error in posture.I recommend this sight. It's very light and looks the part. It's also a very reasonable price.
