Repeatable no-guess filling
So far, so good--they seem to be of high quality. The hex nut "relief" valve really helps in reliably filling these tanks to full, not under- or over-filling in a reasonable time per tank. I do weigh them empty and then afterward. They are like miniature versions of the 5 gal (10 lb) grill tanks in having the relief valve which serves as a fill indicator. It is very difficult to get the "disposable" tanks refilled to the proper level--it is too easy to under- or overshoot the filling of the disposable tanks, and then spend too much time getting them properly leveled. The information bullets include the statement "It is not safe or legal to refill and transport disposable 1lb tanks." It is not illegal, so the statement is false. Also, many people do safely refill the disposable tanks, so that part of the claim should be better qualified with statistical data. Almost no human act is "100% guaranteed safe." I choose the Flame King refillable tanks for the reliable and predictable fill leveling. (I did refill disposable tanks, but found it inconvenient.)The packaging warns that these should be used indoors. This would seem to identically say one should not use them in a Mr. Heater situated in a house or garage. The user of such a heater must make their own choice.I have not owned them for long enough to rate "durability." I also did not rate "value for money" for the same reason. They will need to be durable to have value for money because they are not cheap.

Economical
These have been a long time coming. My Dad devised a refill mechanism for the standard Bernz-O-Matic torch propane tanks in the 1950s. He had realized the expense and waste in non reuseable tanks from the beginning. The largest hurdle in refilling the "disposable" tanks was the inability to vent the tank while refilling. That problem is solved with these tanks that include the ability to vent the tank when refilling. The tanks come with the necessary Alenn wrench to operate the relief valve. Due to size they are east to lose so I used an appropriately sized zip tie to secure them to the tanks. These tanks save me repeated trips to get tanks refilled and are a great cost savings!!

A true value.
They save money. 20lb propane tank to refill cost approximately $19.00. I can refill safely 19-1lb propane bottles with that. (You need to buy the filler adapter too.) the Green 1lb bottles in my area cost $5.00. It was clear to me that in the short run I would save money. It is true that you have to buy the 20 lb tank if you don't have one yet and that is pretty expensive. $58.00 around here.I have to say that I was a bit concerned about the danger. I found it easy and safe for me to refill the bottle on my own. I am very happy with this purchase.

Best cylinders to use as "refillable"
Heavy-duty, high-quality refillable propane cylinders. The purge valve is in the neck and each tank comes with the correct sized allen wrench to purge for filling. Best and safest for legal refilling.

Solid
My concern was safety and the weight and construction and ease of use. Will but more as I run up to 15 lanterns at work

Useful with knowledge
These are refillable though not always exchangeable, however refillable with an adapter that fits on a larger tank. These are easy to fill & useful for camping stoves, heaters & more safe activities. They have the overflow valve on the brass attachment instead of on the tank or bottle itself. They come with the key to fill, bleed off air and a plastic cover for easy carry when not in use.
