functional, but not robust
I was using it to pump bottled water to my ice machine had a second one on a timer to pump the melted ice water back again. Was working well until I got called into work unexpectedly and forgot to power the pumps off (14 hour trip) by the time I came home again the main seals were toast.

Good diaphram water pump
The pump comes with zip ties and some flexible plastic tubing.Wiring from the motor is stranded 26AWG with a plastic male 2 pin connector clip.At first use, I connected it to a variable benchtop DC power supply set to 12V in constant voltage mode. The current draw running the pump dry is 113mA. This pump is significantly louder than a centrifugal impellar type pump when run dry, and sounds similar to a quiet air compressor. When pumping water, the pump is very quiet.I filled up a one liter water bottle and timed how long it took to pump it to another water bottle. The pump was suspended about 18 inches above the bottles (about 30 inches overall height) with the suction and discharge ports facing down and tubing in the bottom of both bottles. This test took 63 seconds to pump one liter with a current draw of approximately 200mA at 12V. Rated at 1.2L/minute, I would say that this is a little slow but given my setup, I would suspect this rating is a maximum for ideal pumping conditions (no change in elevation). It would be nice if the manufacturer provided a matching female connector clip for the wiring, as I did not have one and had to cut the connector off to test it.Overall, this is a good pump that is quiet and stays relatively true to its ratings and the product description.

Not quite what I wanted, but will work ok.
I got this to give a low level cooling to a solar project I'm playing with. It does work, it is quiet and the flow is acceptable. I knew this was a very small pump, so not expecting a sump pump, I just did not think it would be this small. I'm not sure how long it will last, I'm running it at about a 25% runtime. I have it at 4 stars now. If it keeps working ok, then I will return and update the rating. If it burns out fast, same will be true. For now, it works.
