Great experience
Great value. I bought this after my previous Nook took an accidental swim. Quick and easy set up, all my books transfered and my reading emergency is over!

Good for me.
This is the upgrade to my Nook Tablet that I use as an ereader. It holds a good charge and the ease of holding it is good. I like having physical page turn as well as the finger scroll page turn. One thing I would like to have is a way to return the book to the beginning once I'm done reading so that I'm not using the back button constantly.

Arrived in good shape
After two failed attempts, we finally got a working unit and at a great price.

It stopped working right after the return window
This e reader is slow. I mean SLOW. I am not a patient person and there is a delay with every touch of the screen, so searching for a title of a book or simply connecting to the wifi is a chore. Even clicking the side buttons to turn pages is slow. Granted it takes 3-5 seconds to change the screen and it does this weird “blink” every time the screen should change. I definitely wouldn’t recommend for someone that doesn’t have the patience to wait for each letter to pop up when typing or having to hit backspace and find the right placement on the keyboard for the letter you want. Don’t waste your money, go buy the new kindle instead for a few more dollars and save yourself the frustration.

More Features than a kindle, BUT only if you put in the work
I bought this cause I wanted a simple E-reader that integrated with Libby. This E-reader runs android so I plugged it into my computer and installed nova launcher, amazon appstore, Kindle, Auroa Store through adb ( Android Debugger Command line program). Downloaded the apps from apkpure.com and simply ran "$ adb device" to verify connection to the device, "$ adb install <Insert some apk file here>" to install the apps. Rebooted and selected Nova as the default. As you can see the B&N Nook launcher is in the app tray which launches the oem launcher that comes on the device. I transferred some epub format books from my computer by creating a folder in /NOOK/MyFiles/<copy books here>. They show up in the B&N launcher after that. One thing to note is the forward and back page buttons only work for the B&N app. (At least for me).Libby works great, Kindle I just setup today and It doesn't behave well. I can't exit the current book with any gesture or button. Is it worth $94? Only if you are willing to install nova launcher and the appstore's.Is it better than a kindle? I think? Kindles don't run android OS so you can flash apps onto them so your limited to amazons bookstores.adb is available on all Unix systems and Windows.I ran it from Linux Mint 21.3 Virginia Linux Kernel 5.15sudo apt install adb

A good e-Reader that does the job effectively.
My B&N Nook e-Reader does what it supposed to as far as readability, backlit contrast, and ease of shopping for new material and archiving library materials purchased. Battery life is acceptable (about 6-7 hours is typical use before recharging is needed). Size and weight and ease of holding are the best attributes of the reader. It’s at a good price point relative to other options.
