Beautiful and well-made. But beware that most plugs will not allow the cover to close all the way.

These outlets are a value for the money and easy to install. They look great on our hardwood floor. They are made of good quality materials and function properly.

These appear well built, and the depth is adjustable. Installation went well. I mounted these on a wood floor over a crawlspace, and I chose to route out a circle so they mount flush. That went well.However, the outlet is set facing straight up, and the space is relatively small. This means that any ordinary plug and cord extends too high and you cannot close the cover when something is plugged in. I worked around this by purchasing an extension cord with a flat plug (cord comes out the side of the plug). Most ordinary plugs will not work.Other outlets I have seen are either deeper, or the socket is angled so that the plug clears the lid.

Good product but no flange to screw the box into the subfloor. Our installation was with an existing floor. Cut a hole in the floor to fit the top but there was no way to secure the bottom (under the floor). We had access with a drop ceiling but it took two people, one under to hold the box up and another on the main floor to screw it in place. Also, even though it is deep, it is basically made for lamp cords. Most extension cords (three prong) are too thick to fit through the slots. Also, the USB cords I have are too tall to close the door. That said, we installed two, one was super quick, the other it took a while to line up the screw holes, both are under sofa's so the lids being open is not really a big deal (for us).

I’m very disappointed in this purchase. I just completed construction on an 1100 sq ft addition with a new office, and one of the main reasons I had floor outlets installed was to avoid having cords running from the walls. Unfortunately, these outlets completely missed the mark.As shown in the photos, the notches on the side are unnecessary, and the receptacle isn't deep enough to fit anything but USB plugs. That makes them virtually useless for actual office equipment. What a waste of money.To make matters worse, since construction just wrapped up, I’m now past the return window—so I’m stuck with a product that doesn’t meet its intended purpose. Having to leave the door open to access these also makes it harder to keep the area clean. Very disappointing overall.

Came on time and safe

Easy to install and they look great for a reasonable price. I like the fact that you can have stuff plugged in and close the lid
