I got this lock to replace the previous Master lock I was using on my gate. I lost one of the keys...and I like to have two handy. This one is much better. The other wasn't designed specifically for outdoor use, and had started to rust anyway. So this one is much better, and more protected from the elements, especially the small cover for the key slot. I'm sure I'm going to like this one much better, and have it for a long time.

I have this lock on my back fence and it has withstood all weather elements to date. Rain, ice and heavy winds. No rusting and easy to lock and unlock. The quality is good and perfect for what I need it for

This is a solid Master Lock and feels very sturdy. Locking and unlocking is smooth and doesn't feel loose like some cheaper locks I have purchased.The only issue I had was the bottom cover that protects the keyhole, fell off when it was in the heat on my semi trailer. The plastic material became very soft and just came off like nothing when I flipped the cover open. Since the key hole is pointed down, I don't expects a lot of water to get in there so I don't think it will make a big difference but time will tell.

I would recommend buying this lock for your indoor/outdoor needs. I enjoy the sturdy feel of the shackle while the lock remains easy to use. This it’s has been outside for several months the and still opens like it did on the first day.

Bought this for my outdoor tool shed. It seems heavy duty and is protected if it gets wet. It’s gotten wet quite a few times and the key hole and lock portions work like it is brand new. It’s very easy to unlock and lock. I’d definitely recommend this product and the price was fair.
