I absolutely love this remote.
I bought this remote because I have trouble pressing the buttons on the standard remote and when I got this remote, I didn't even have to pair it with my TV because my Roku TV automatically picked it up and paired it. It allows me to talk to my TV to find anything I'm searching for without having to type it into my TV. It also has a location alarm in case I misplace it and it's rechargeable via a USB cord. It also has backlit keys which is great because my house is dark. If you have problems with remotes like me, it's really worth the money to get it.

It’s rechargeable, easy to program, buttons light up, voice activated ability
Updated:ok so I’m updating this as we’ve had the remote a while and a few things I wanted to add on the review to help those that are on the fence.1. We love the voice activation feature. Simply say hey Roku and then whatever your after ex. Being hey Roku find my remote(this one has been a godsend multiple times with four kids and the remote constantly being misplaced due to arguing, or hey Roku tune volume up to 28 or whatever volume, hey Roku play, hey Roku pause, you get the gist I hope2. Its light up feature is super helpful at night while my husband is sleeping all I do is touch the remote and the buttons light up making it easy to see the controls in pitch dark.3. Let’s talk the rechargeable feature for a moment. I notice three things with the remote when it needs to be recharged or is charging. (1. Being that the light next to the power button blinks red when battery is really low but the remote does still function unless I’ve just flat killed the batteries. 2. Recharge time I recommend for an hour tops to make sure battery life is perfect however when our remote is plugged in charging we do see it on the main Home Screen of the tv from time to time when changing apps. 3. This is think is the most retarded favorite function I have developed is it works with any type c charger (I think I say this because type c chargers are the biggest thing that walk away or disappear and reappear in different places)(I blame the kids))Super easy to set up, the buttons light up with movement, perfect fit for you hand, small yet sleek, solid black remote, feels tough,

Wonderful thing for many reasons.
Turning on tv by just asking via “Hey Roku” and tuning to things (especially live local TV..even the White Sox, only accessible to me via antenna) is so easy. I have to admit it is the height of laziness to turn on the TV and select things without even moving (just talking) but it’s great. I can see people with mobility or issues with hand joints appreciating this too. The reacharging by USB-c is great as don’t need to change batteries (which can be a challenge at times for removing back or finding the right ones). Love the concept of it so much.

Should have bought this a long time ago!
I bought this Roku remote because I love that it has the option to press and hold for voice control. I have carpal tunnel issues and pressing buttons and typing in letters on apps like YouTube really hurts my wrists. I love that the remote lights up so it's easy to use in the dark while I'm watching tv. It also has a feature for finding your remote that you can set up and use and it's really cool! I should have bought this remote a long time ago because I've always wanted a voice control to search on youtube and just to tell my tv to open certain apps like Netflix. The remote works very well. It's really nice quality, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a voice controlled remote. It's definitely worth the money for the pain relief I now have when using it.

Great remote with a reservation - Roku hates Fire TV
This is a great Roku remote except for one thing. It will not even turn on/off or set the volume for my Hisense TV because my TV is a Firestick TV. Had I known that it would not at least turn on/off and adjust volume I would not have bought the Hisense TV. I'm a Roku guy. I do not care for Firestick. I only use the HDMI input number 1 on my TV. I have a 4x4 matrix switch that does all my switching and I have a Roku, my cable box and my computer connected to the switch.I guess Roku and Firestick are such terrible competitors that Roku will not do anything for you if you have a Firestick TV.With all that said I still like the remote. I bought it because it has backlit buttons and is rechargeable. My former Roku remote had pretty much lost all of its button labels (rubbed off). I'm just upset that I must keep two remotes on hand one of which is only used to turn the TV on/off and adjust the volume. I was able to make the TV default to HDMI1 so I didn't have to also use the TV remote to change to that imput/

Great Remote
I love this remote. The backlight is great. Voice control works well. I use voice to turn captions on and off. It saves a lot of time. It's rechargeable which is cool. Only complaint I would have is I have to press down harder on the buttons to get them to respond. But it's not really an issue especially with the voice control. Big upgrade to my 7 year old Roku TV.

Good so far...
Basically bought this remote because it uses Radio Frequency\wifi to connect to the tv. The normal remote loses line of site with the small infrared receiver on the TV all the time, I think it's due to my TV stand. This gets annoying unless the remote is pointed just right. Using with a 5 year old TCL Roku TV, it paired to my tv automatically and installed a firmware update to itself. At first the RF function was intermittent, kept falling back to old infrared mode. The remote kept dropping voice control, not a big deal for me but it indicates the loss of RF connection. After reading, I tried a few hard reboots on the tv, rebooting the remote, and re-pairing. Connection was still not right. More research a person said to go under networking on your TV or Roku and reset the network settings. The device will reset the network settings and then reboot the TV. My TV is connected through Ethernet so it just connects. If you're using wifi you'll probably have to re-enter your password. This has cleared up my connection issue and the remote uses RF now exclusively and not infrared. The find my remote function and voice control also works fine now. I'm hoping this remote continues to work as it's a solid upgrade. Hopefully my review helps someone else having connection issues.
