Wish I bought these instead of BOSE A20s when I started flying!
The media could not be loaded. I needed a new aviation headset for passengers flying with me, but I didn't want to drop $1200 on another pair of Bose aviation headset?I had Bose of over the ear noise canceling headphones already, so I grabbed the NFlight Nomad for $249. This mic turns them into a pro aviation setup—crystal-clear sound, easy 3 M Dual Lock attachment. . The NFlight Nomad has the standard, very well built, attachments for general aviation set ups. In addition, the NFLight Nomad even has a lifetime warranty! I wish I’d found these earlier in my flying journey—they match my aviation Bose headset in sound quality at one-fifth the price! Lightweight, versatile, and perfect for long flights, NFlight Nomad’s a budget-friendly win every pilot needs!

High quality durable aviation microphone
I am a professional pilot and have used the Nflight mic for 3 months now. Overall, I’m very happy with the product. I was a little concerned about the 3M dual lock attachment, but after having used it for a while, I’m convinced it’s a excellent way to connect the mic to the headset. The mic produces excellent sound quality through my Bose QC 35 Bluetooth headset with no background noise or feedback. I didn’t give it 5 stars because, in my opinion, there are 2 things that I feel could be better. First, the cord is too long for the cockpit I work in. It is difficult to manage the extra cord and I do worry sometimes that it will get caught in the seat track and be cut ... It would be great to have an option on how long you want the cord to be for the aircraft you fly... Second, the microphone itself is directional so you have to make sure that the operational side is facing you. If they had made it assymmetrical or clearly marked the proper side to be facing you it would be helpful (it is marked but it’s in the same color as the mic and difficult to see when you’re setting up the mic and impossible to see when you have it on)... I consider both of these things to be fairly minor, so, overall I am really happy with my Nflight mic and have recommended it’s purchase to other pilots I fly with.

Works well worth cost
There are a couple mics out there that are less. I bought this one as a back up to one of the other brands. The other brands are giving a me a little issue with sound quality so these have become my main. This is a good purchase if you already have the noise canceling headset because you end up having a good quality noise canceling aviation headset. If you have to buy a BoseQC45 and these you may as well get the Bose A20 for $200 to $300 more. Overall happy with them. The only drawback is when carrying them around you have to unstick the mic and stick on again out of the way ( the arm mic does bend in any direction) other wise it tends to get caught on things because the attachment point in a fixed position, which is easy to do because of the 3m stickers they provide that just click into place. Wish it would swivel up and down at the base out of the way.

A Great Multipurpose Option
I was given a Bose HP-700 noise-cancelling headset for Christmas, which isn't something I expected to get much use out of, but a pilot friend had shown me how he had converted a set of Quiet Comforts with this product. he had no complaints about the sound quality and neither do I. The sound quality is amazing (compared to my 20-year-old Lightspeed Cross Country, so ...). My greatest concern was in mounting the boom to the earpiece, since the surface of the HP-700 is split down the middle (see picture). Turns out it just fit, though I did have trouble getting the first pad to stick. I found that heating the glue on the pad and getting the surface extra clean made it stick very nice. Out of caution, I do put my finger between the pad and the boom mic when separating them. So far, no complaints.

Directions not complete and cannot find serial number
I just set mine up on my Bose headphones. I have not even tried to use it yet but I couldn't complete the registration because I could not find the serial number. There was a number on the box but that did not work. Frustrating. Also there is a clip in the box but nothing on the instructions about how to use the clip. Frustrating again. Emailed support and the email bounced back. Frustrating three times. Going flying with my pilot son tomorrow and hopefully this rig works. Don't want to be frustrated in the air.

Almost gave one star
I order this product to use with my Bose QC 35. On the very first day I took to fly, people could hear me, but I could not hear them, then I removed and reconnected and the sound was too loud and I thought what a piece of junk. Then I thought I will ask for a replacement (granted the other positive reviews, I thought I had a defective item). They sent me another one on the same day, no questions asked. Then I flew with it and it worked perfectly. I flew for only one hour, sound quality is comparable with the current Bose aviation headset, but flying with the QC35 is much lighter and comfortable. This are serious people in business. I'm glad that I just didn't return and ask for my money back. I don't think I would ever spend money to buy the high end aviation headsets anymore.

Works okay for price point
Good substitute in the interim instead of a full headset
