Powerful, effective, solid rotavator - suitable for heavy and light work even at allotment
I needed this to help sort out our allotment - which needed going back to deeper soil and breaking up to rejuvenate after taking out all the overgrown aspects. To do this, I'd killed the weeds - which are grass and cut that back, and also had bought a 1056Wh (1800W) battery / portable power station so I could use a mains powered rotavator away from mains power. This was a much better idea than petrol powered or battery powered for the area I was doing.I used this rotavator in 3 main sections - once over one side, then the far side and then back down the middle. The photos attached show these. Total time actually rotavating, was just over 30 minutes - but the ground was quite hard due to recent dry weather, and the straw like grass clogged up a couple of times (which would happen with any rotavator). Strimming and raking up the longest parts first would've made the process quicker :-)(I do need to go over the area again perpendicular to this, but I want to do that in a few days time)As a result, I would say that this is a great product, easy to assemble, with plenty of power to make the job go quickly. It is lighter than I expected, which is a bit of a double edge sword - if it was heavier it wouldn't bounce on hard soil as much, but the relatively light weight nature of it (though it's not light) makes it easier to transport. (The bouncing is only an issue because the soil hasn't been tilled like this in years and the ground was very dry. Also has a simple solution - stop briefly and pull back slowly rather than pushing forward relentlessly)You can see for yourself the before during and after pictures, so that's cool. Pairing this with a 1056Wh (anker) battery was an extremely effective way of tilling this soil. I do have an eSkde battery powered (smaller) tiller that digs in 8cm rather than 22cm of this and the difference is quite stark. It's a lot quicker to use the 22cm depth of this and provides a better result. (The 8cm would be great for maintenance, and is also useful in beds - but for a large area like this, this larger rotavator makes a big difference.Doing this with a fork and spade would literally have taken forever, and the "neighbour" on the allotment came over - in part I think due to how quiet the rotavator was, but could see it was making short work of the area. (It's quieter than our strimmer)I did have to speak to the seller about a minor issue I had - which I think was unusual, but the seller was great, understood the issue I had, and helped resolve the issue quickly, so all in all lovely guys - and meant I was able to get this done this weekend :-)Very happy with this purchase, and would recommend to others.

A Must have for your garden
Fantastic piece of kit. Makes quick work of turning over flower beds. Cuts through tree roots well. Heavy enough to do the job but light enough for me to use. Best thing I’ve bought in a while. Effortless and saved so much time.

It's OK so far
Purchased to rotovate a tired lumpy lawn to dig in some soil improver and reseed. It struggled to break up the grass thatch (and you need to mow the lawn as short as you can before) and was at the limit of what it could do with 1000w. Fairly light and easy to manoeuvre it wasn't hard to use.The lawn is fairly small so I worked it for 5 mins and then let the motor rest for 10 to cool down and over about 2 hours it was done. Probably not much quicker than using a spade but way less effort. Now the thatch has been broken up the motor is much happier and it chomps through the subsoil with relative ease. I think this one is right on its limit for lawns, if you've got a sizable lawn then renting a heavy duty petrol rotovator would be a better choice and probably take 10 minutes but for small lawns, flower beds or vegetable plots this works well.

Great tiller
Good powerful machine. A little bouncy on the hard ground but does a good job overall. Works best moving backwards with handle low as possible to ground.

Very impressed
It does the work! Given price I wasn't sure if this item would manage to dig through an impacted piece of ground,( not dug in years as had a row of trees before. Its just brill!. Great value. Handy size, I find it a little heavy BUT I'm only 5ft 68yr old female...I suspect its the weight uIt has to be to be effective.Great tool.

Well made.
This product took a little time to master. It's feisty & needs strength to control it, but it is a marvel once mastered. What usually took hours to turn over the soil ready for planting now takes minutes. It's well made & I have no doubt it will last years.
