Cute pink coloured slushy making cup
The slushy maker is pretty in pink, and is a really easy way to make a quick and fun ice drink . It serves as both an activity and a tasty treat. The inner ice pack needs to be frozen overnight to get really cold, and then at least fridge cold drink needs to poured into the assembled cup, and the the cup is squished repeatedly to transfer the heat from drink into the cup and slowly freeze the drink. You can't fill the cup up very much otherwise you squeeze the drink out of the cup, so you end up with a fairly small drink at the end.It is easy to do, the kids can do it themselves, and the ice drink is almost instant taking less than a minute.

Works well
It does what is says great fun for kids and it is a good quality. It does take time in the freezer which is the hardest part as you do get is it done yet constantly. Good for a treat on a hot day and is ok value for money ey

Slushy
Simple to use and doesn’t require anything that you do not already have in the fridge at home. Good alternative to the ones from the shops.

Disappointing results
Unfortunately, I think the results from this slushy maker cup are simply not worth the hassle. The cup has to be disassembled, cleaned and reassembled prior to being frozen for hours before having a drink poured into it. When I say disassembled and reassembled, I mean just that; apart from the cup itself and its domed lid, the cup also features a “top collar”, “washer”, “cooling pack”, and “bottom collar”. Apart from the parts being ridiculously numerous, I personally find it hard to remember the order in which they go, and think the likelihood of them going astray in a busy family kitchen is rather high. The cup itself is small and does not contain a large drink. Most disappointingly, I haven’t managed to produce any slushy in it. Certainly, the cup cools drinks down, but so does placing them directly in the freezer for a while or using ice cubes.

Dosnt produce the amount of slushy shown in the photos or videos
I ordered this slushy maker from Chill Factor with great hope of making a slushy during the summer. The quality of it is good, and I like that everything unscrews and is removable to clean it, the straw could be a bit longer otherwise your very close to the cup when sucking through it. I like the scoop that you can attach although this has a habit of falling off.Now for the slushy making, I watched the videos on this on YouTube and this shows similar to the picture adverts of a slushy right up to the top of the lid. I followed the instructions correctly. Let my juice in the refrigerator so it was cold and the cup was left in the freezer for a couple of das, I have a thermometer in m fridge to make sure it was between -18 and - 25 and it was. After removing the slushy maker from the freezer and pouring in the chilled juice up to just below 3/4 of the cup, I squeezed the sides for 1 to 2 mins. Indeed slushy was made, especially after the full 2 mins. However, it really only just makes a bit of this and it is much more watery than is shown in the ads and there is no chance it will be up to the top of the lid. That being said, it isn't exactly a lot of money and is mostly aimed at children, it does work but don't think your going to have a full cup of slushy.

Make your own slushy drinks
A fun and mess free way to make slushy drinks. The bright pink cup needs to go in the freezer for atleast 10 hours and then you can add any cold drink to it. Squeeze the cup to watch the drink transform into ice. My 3 year old and 14 year old absolutely love it. Ideal for summer!

Good but a lot of effort
Once you've had this in the freezer for TEN HOURS and also made sure you're juice is cold you get to make the slushies. It works quite well and the kids had fun making the slushy. But then you clean it and have to start all over again.
